  Feeling Pretty Bad

  i hate mondays!.

  i also feel bad because i have been receiving subtle hints from my hubby that he may be leaving me.

  we have been married for 24 years, have 4 beautiful, intelligent children (one is no longer with us), we have been though troubles, worries, the death of our darling claire, money problems - you name it - we've been there.. now - because i have different religious views to him, he doesn't think he can associate himself with me any longer.

  our niece, irene, who posts here as inky, sent me an email.

  her 27 year old son is getting married in two weeks, and she posted a few days ago about how he didn't invite her to his wedding.. she told me i can post it as she doesn't want to read it again.. "dear mom.

  i've needed to write this letter to you for some time now.

  Well it hasn't worked out that way.

  I've been out awhile The publishers were also encourage to donate when they picked up their literature and also turn in what they were given when they placed the literature.

  when they started the donation instead of a flat rate for the literature, I remember after the demonstration the brother giving the talk said people would likely donate more money then the flat rate they had been asking for

  I just remember a publication saying the animals were brought before Adam so he could name them... Maybe my mother read us her own edited version.

  i know some have posted similar topics like this, but i thought it might be kind of fun (for the new ones that are coming here in droves) and others, to give some examples of catch phrases etc, that are unique to the jw world.

  here's a few to start:.... "muster up boldness", "sound down into our hearts","satan's crafty acts", "paradisaic", "young ones"," discernment".....these are just a few of the more irritating.

  "Fruitage" is a word seldom I have heard outside the JWs

  not unless they(outside of the JW's) are talking about body parts ie, melons

  how bout eating at the table of demeenz, full time pioneers, auxillary pioneers, unsolicited donations (even if there were constant reminders to donate, asking people to donate for literature, and numerous "donation boxes" at the halls and assemblys.)
