I know some have posted similar topics like this, but I thought It might be kind of fun (for the New Ones that are coming here in droves) and others, to give some examples of catch phrases etc, that are unique to the JW world. Here's a few to start:.... "Muster up boldness", "Sound down into our hearts","Satan's crafty acts", "Paradisaic", "Young Ones"," Discernment".....These are just a few of the more irritating. Add yours if you'd like.

"The truth"
The 'faithful and discreet slave'........anything but.
The 'new system'.......another delusion.
'New Light'........as opposed to new lies.
Heres a few in a sentence,
"He's such a nice brother, it's really unfortunate that he so weak in the truth. He used to be active, untill he got wrapped up in materialism, that this old system offers.His brother is strong in the truth, and his sister is real zealous. I hope in time he will appreciate spirtitual things and Jehovah will soften his heart. I haven't seen him at any get togethers lately and I think he enjoys the world more.

For many years, I thought that it actually said: "This wicked cistern of things". As you may be aware, we call the flushing mechanism of a lavatory the "cistern", so maybe I was on the right track after all.
