  i never thought i would do one of those infamous goodbye i cant take this board anymore posts where the person shows up again a week later and looks like an idiot.

  when i had enough of this board and needed a little break i would just quietly leave for a few months and hopefully nobody noticed.

  that is not the case this time.

  This is so depressing. I always go in to see what you have posted. Now before you start accusing me of stalking, I like to see what you have stirred up for the day. I am going to miss your posts immensely. You have been a great source of strength when things seemed tough, and your humor has brought smiles when I didn't think I could muster one. You have had a positive impact on my life. Thanks for being here Dave.

  people from all over the united states enjoy the taste of a samoa cookie or a thin mint.

  in fact, during the winter campaign of the girl scouts of the usa, people spend millions of dollars on these delicacies.

  linda* (*not her real name) said that she buys no less than 18 boxes of the cookies every two weeks during the campaign.

  CO calls meeting to discuss association with my parents

  i'm so furious at the moment my keyboard is smoking whilst i'm typing this message.

  i just got informed through one of my contacts that at the recent visit to my parents cong the visiting co brought the elders together to discusss with my father who is still an elder, to decide if he should be allowed to associate or even speak with me.

  who in the hell do they think they are?

  (((((((SF)))))))) I hope all goes well this week. What a time for them to start messing with your parents emotions. A hopeful pattern I have seen among some of those getting older is that they look more seriously at cutting ties with their children. Since things have gone okay for the past year between them and you I am hoping this is the case. We are here for you.

  Just had a visit from my mom

  about two weeks ago, i had a fallout with my mother and sister.

  they totally overreacted to a situation and said some pretty nasty things, called me apostate and said they never wanted to see me again.

  i tried my hardest to not react the same way, and try to explain some things but they didn't want to listen.

  JW's upset grandfather left house to Df'd family member

  hi guys.

  my brother told me that his friends grandfather died and that the jw family members are upset that he left his house to his grandson who is df'd.

  for the last few years the grandson took him to all his doctor appointments and took him grocery shopping.

  as a devout jehovah's witness, mrs. merle is prohibited from celebrating her birthday.

  but a week from tomorrow, relatives and friends will flock to the camoset village country living mobile home park in johnstown to attend a super bowl party that just happens to feature ice cream and cake.. "that's why we're calling it a super bowl party," explained her son bob merle, 73, who lives just five trailers down the road.

  "we don't celebrate birthdays, but we have to celebrate 100 years," said mrs. mechem, 78.

  Husband had to get a blood transfusion

  hi all, i told you about the heart attack.

  well, he developed complications from the anticoagulant.

  he got acute gastritis and started loosing blood in his stools.

  some of you might remember my situation....i have daed myself a while ago, and my father is the only jw in the family.

  since i am very close to him and the family, he has read everything related to shunning, he even asked elders and even them are not sure.

  so he wrote a big long letter to bethel to have an answer.
