Between, I thought that exact thing as I watched it. Funny, I used to draw pictures like that myself when I was young. I wonder where I got the ideas from? Funny how much like a WTBTS picture that drawing looks like!!! Wonder why he's having a bad dream? It couldn't be one of those dreams where the demons won't go away, or where mom and dad are being killed in 'the big A' for shouting at each other or saying a 'bad' word that night ...

New Watchtower CD?
by Xander ini'm going to post another thread on this since my last attempt to hijack a thread was utterly in vain.. does anyone have the latest watchtower library cd?
i *think* the year was '99 or '01, but i'm not 100% on that.. if so, would it be possible to put an iso of it on the web somewhere?
(or, if not, at least host it on your computer for a bit such that i could pick it up via icq or gnutella or something?).

Oh, and even though she was beyond repentant - and on anti-depressants (yes she suffers alot of problems) none of that mattered - she got the big DF axe anyway. The other people involved (family to elders in next town's KH) all got public reproof. How's that for justice?

Double PS, these were the same 'men of god' who drilled my sister-in-law for days (hours at a time) about all the 'details' of her 'loose conduct' (not even real sex) - probably sitting their w/ stiffies imagining this 16 year old girl ....... and one of whom which was banging a fellow 'brothers' wife AT THE TIME!!!

Dutchy, consider yourself lucky to have been re-exposed to the reality of the JW world so quickly. Yes they WILL regulate every thing you do. Now of course, they won't 'tell' you to do/not do something, but they will say things like "A mature christain would not do/do this ...". The age old guilt trip starts. No, there is no love there, just quickly jugdemental control of every aspect of your life.
PS, my wife used to get 'counseled' regarding her dress all the time ... came from bitter old men whose wives had let themselves go and they couldn't stand to see a good-looking woman who was proud of her body. Not to mention the huge jealousy of those women who couldn't be waken from their obesity to try and look good themselves ... no, they'd rather make everyone else look/dress like them instead.

the un, steven bates, the guardian newspaper, and watchtower of new york, inc.. dan, i'm sure you are aware of some recent accusations by steven bates, a writer for the guardian newspaper (a british-based newspaper).
