in 1877 he advocated that true christians should believe that christ would "take them home" in 1878. when that didn't happen he moved the event up to 1881. after that he focused on 1914.. the society is still doing pretty much the same thing, building up expectations and then revising them, decade after decade.
That's why you're confused and are so desperate to find fault in his faithful servants that are keeping up the watch.

You have a serious problem Sword. Since you have lost your urgency in preaching about Hank, Hank is going to kick your butt. You just don't want anyone else to know about Hank, and the fact that Hank will give you a million $ when he get's back to town. But only if you kiss Hank's butt. You use your own wicked reasoning when reading Hank's list.

colts 23, jets 15 (the jets had their super bowl vs. the packers).
packers 21, falcons 17 (i have a hunch that atlanta may pull the upset but you can't root against the pack at lambeau).

LOL - that would be funny. Too bad it won't happen - I think the Jets might be able to eek out a win in this one ... If they do, I think we might see dubla wearing a Chap P jersy - over his M Vic one
Edited to add - if the niners can score 14 points they will win - I don't think that the Buc offense(what would you call it?) can put up that kind of score.

And therein lies the rub - since the NFL was founded, nobody has ever gone to Green Bay and won a playoff game. There were a lot of very talented teams and QB's who tried. To have notched that accomplishment in your belt during your first season playing in the NFL already qualifies M Vic as 'amazing'.

Yep, Vic was pretty amazing - keeping his cool and not coming into the famous Lambo field defeated - it was obvious who wanted to win that game the most. Still sad to see the Pack fold that way - I know they are beat up, but as said, even early in the game even Farve looked like he just wanted to go home. No fire at all.

You don't hear Pack fans booing the Pack at home in Jan ... it just doesn't happen. I feel like I'm lost in a space time continuom or something But the way the Pack played they deserved a few boos -

i wonder if the elders did on purpose to distribute territories so that you would have to be working in your neighbourhood.. often i noticed that elders gave me a territory in my neighbourhood, just to see if i would be ill at ease.
maybe they wanted to know if i had worldly friends in my neighbourhood.
I detested working in FS period I didn't care if it was close to home or not, it sucked either way.
My favorite 'FS' was when I was pioneering alone and my 10 hour days consisted of a trip to the mall and a movie or two. Now, THAT's pioneering!

Yes the Pack faithful are hurting right now. No doubt. The result didn't suprise me with the way the Pack have been playing the past month, but I still thought the Lambo field magic would work one more time - I guess not. Vic is a pretty awesome player, I just hope that Atlanta get's him some help before he's destroyed his body - a QB can't take that punishment forever.
