in an earlier post i talked about the fact that my wife and i were moving far, far away from the city in which we grew up.

well, the move was successful we're loving our new city and new jobs.

This is how I faded. My parents don't pester me as much anymore. Right now I live in "sin". They anxiously wait for the day I marry and bring my worldly partner to the bOrg. Haaaaaaaa!

I need a new phone......which one is better- I-phone or Droid?

i'm in need of a new phone.

i've had the samsung omnia for quite a while.

its a piece of crap.

I've had both. Although the Android system is a good system and is heading down a good/innovative path, I found it still has a lot of bugs. I prefer the iphone overall because of the quality... it is faster, has better apps and is less glitchy.

How Judicial Committees Violate Individual Privacy

many here have called for public judicial committees, which would indeed add to transparency.

but--every person deserves a measure of privacy, and to be able to keep their dirty laundry from public view.

why should everyone know the details of very personal matters, perhaps involving private struggles and family secrets?

Very strange. In my case...they required I have proof that my 'wordly' ex husband had cheated/was cheating on me. That's when I completely gave up. I had no idea where he was. It would basically mean, in their eyes I could never remarry, if I never found him and this 'proof'.

Wrecked my car yesterday

My mom and dad told me that I'm an apostate and that they want to 'limit their association' with me!!!

a series of events led up to an arugment with my parents last night.

my mom and dad told me that they found my videos that i was doing on youtube, and they told me that i was an apostate.

they said that they would help me if it was an emergency, but other then that, they didnt want anything to do with me.

My heart goes out to you… I know you are really sad right now, they are your parents after all. It is so horrible how this ‘religion’ that preaches so much about love, actually shows so little of it.

Regardless of how often we talk about the bOrg tearing families apart on this board, it’s still difficult to face when it happens personally to us (whether it is once, or many times throughout our lives)
