Letter to all Branches------A Fake?
by miner inmany of you are no doubt familiar with the nov.1, 2001 "letter to all branches" putting forth the the library card defense.
(the letter can be seen at: ) i gave a copy of the letter to a jehovah's witness friend of mine who took it to one of his elders.
the elder said the letter is a fake because: (1) it is not written on official wt letterhead and (2) watchtower does not send such correspondence via the (eeeevil) internet.

No Change in 1991 - Library Card
by Lionel_P_Hartley ini received the folowing two emails from dana loytved who is senior reference librarian at the un library in nyc.. in view of her first reply i asked her what procedure the wts used to access the library before 1991. her second reply is a bit cryptic but she states with confidence that there were no changes in procedure.
i don't want to pester these kind folks any more.. .
the procedure for a library pass is the following: the interested party needs to fill out an application form and supply a letter of recommendation in support of the research.

Alward's Library Card and the Portuguese Letter
by Lionel_P_Hartley indespite a total lack of credible evidence alward continues to insist that the wts affiliated as an ngo with the un merely to get a library card.
since the various statements issued by the wts have been deceitful, dishonest and contradictory then there is no reason to believe them.
the onus of proof is on them, not upon those who documented this embarrassing relationship.

Get an investigation at UN started?
by CatholicGuy indo you think the un would begin an investigation if enough of us wrote them to ask for it?
(letters would be better than email for this, i think.
) perhaps to the secretariat office or the ambassador from the country you reside in?

MAJOR UN/WTS NEWS- UN LETTER & 1992 Press R...
by hawkaw inas of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.
and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .
after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk

Why the WatchTower T S never answers
by Nassau inas jw since 1976 i wonder why watchtower official spokemen always keep silent on every difficult and controversy subjects!
just ignore the letters and the questions of sincere jws trying to have good arguments to defend the "god's organisation"?
