I'm sick of...

i'm sick of.... ...having an elder i barely know invite himself over to my house, and bring another asshole elder with him, you know, to "see how i'm doing" f-ck them.

...having same elder with all insincerity approach me at the beeting and before inviting himself over, ask, "how are you doing?

" then when i say everything is great, go ahead and invite them selves over anyway.

I remember coming home once, and there were 2 elders sitting in my living. I had NO idea they were going to be there. My a@#hole wife at the time, invited them there without me knowing or discussing it with me(the head of the household, lol). My now ex-wife was such a horrible, judgemental, lieing, evil motived human being, and she is still part of the BORG, till this day. She fits in perfect, actually.

When this happened we were going thru "marital problems", yeah no kidding, WE WERE 20 YEARS OLD, and had to marry early and take on heavy duty financial burdens, all at a young age cause maybe you might want to have sex, but thats another story. Anyway, she sneakily had these 2 elders come to my home, and when i got home, i was railroaded.

I think back now, some 20 years later, and think how it would be NOW, if i came home at the age of 40 and saw 2 unanounced men/elders in my house. I would toss them out my front door head first, and they would learn REAL QUICK to never come by me again. Damn bullys, they were so "big" when i was a 20 year old kid, try that now to the man i am now, and see what happens.

this damning quote is found on page 1 of the september 2015 our kingdom ministry, the last sentence in the 3rd bullet point under the sub-heading how to do it.

this quote amounts to an implicit admission that the jw practice of mentioning the donation arrangement to householders at the door, makes them look like door to door salesmen.. why would "jehovah's organization" be engaging in a practice that is nothing more than a transparent attempt at undercover soliciting?

I always thought it was so stupid when they would say "If someone asks how the work is financed". Who the f@ck would EVER ask that, after taking the magazines at the door. Oh, what lovely magazines, Oh and btw how is this financed, yeah right!

My ex-Grandmother inlaw, was OBSESSED with being up the GB's asses, and since we were in a congregation in the NYC borough, she had "access" to them. Brother Henschel, who at the time i think? was the top GB, was literally invited to my ex-wifes BRIDAL SHOWER, by my ex-grandmother in law. The crazy thing is, he actually WENT, and was the only male at the bridal shower, even i wasnt there and i was the groom, lol. She used to shower him with gifts and cash, and she would call him her "personal angel".

Henschel NEVER said a word about like "please, i am just a humble servent", NOPE, instead he would eat it up. His grubby hands were out all the time for her cash. He probably looked at it as a type of "business move" to go to my ex-wives shower. Knowing that by continuing to be her "personal angel", she would keep dropping the cash. I heard, cause i wasnt personally there, that at the bridal shower he sat at a table and chair of prominence, like he was a "god".

It still baffles me till this day, 20 some what years later, that he had the balls to be the only dude at a bridal shower, and was the head of the governing body, and all because my ex-grandmother was financially rich and everyone, including the GB, KNEW it.

I remember having the "privilege" of handling the mics at a VERY young age. I was like 9 or 10, no BS, but i had to wear a tie and jacket, which i did anyway. My case was not typical though, in the Elders minds, i was destined for "great" things, so they tried to start me early. Lol, boy did i disapoint them, lol.

one passage of scripture that i've missed until now is 30:37 where it says how joseph got all the sheep to be stripey etc ( btw have you ever seen a stripey sheep?

The truly incredible, wonderful, faith strengthening, miracle here from Jehovah, is not the "striped" sheep, its that God turned Jacobs sheep into Zebras, lol.

Are the J.W's reaching a "Tipping point"?

i haven't been to a meeting in 15 years but my mother and sister are hard as j.w's.

the brothers they are appointing elders are at best suspect like one guy from my old hall made elder,big time drug used before becoming a j.w his talks are all over the place and would have struggled to make m,s years ago but with at least 60 to 70 % of young ones leaving the pool to pick from is at best reduced.. 2 other recent elders both young and zero life experience both on benefits one not well at all falls asleep all the time.. the decent,kind elders mostly older and are decent people with alot of life experience are burning out fast as there are so few of them left like 3 per congro of 100 publishers.. then you have the rich elders who wouldn't ever think of inviting some poor older or mis-fit person out to the expensive placers they go to as they couldn't afford to go so they are above the r&f and the r&f get pissed off with them.

then we have the ones who have "put the kingdom 1st" who are now old worn out and barely getting by from welfare cheque to welfare cheque that are saying "the system should have been over many years ago" it's still here and they are struggling everyday.. then there are the pioneers who have a low payed reduced hour job that seem to think anyone who has anything is totally materialistic and looks down on anyone getting a new car buying a house ect.. along with the child abuse issues,the generation change,access to information the the g.b don't want anyone to know ,not to mention the issues around blood.. is there a tipping point coming????

It is really a domino affect at this point. I do beleive the WT is at a crucial point, and is slowly imploding. This "slow" imploding, however, will soon turn into the rapid demise of the WT, like the final sands in an hourglass.

The OP's description of his KH, is exactly how most of our old cong's were, and are. It takes time for major changes to start, but once true integral, fundamental, changes start to happen, its only a matter of time before it "blooms".

The Congregations are sick, the healthy flowers(older, compassionate elders) have died, or are put out to pasture. The idiot "yes" men, that 10 years ago, would NEVER have even made servant, are "running" things. There is NO "new blood" coming in, or any inteligent people of worth joining this religion. The RF are simple minded, poverty stricken, un-educated, drones.

This is NOW the norm, and its taken 10 years to get to this low point. Now the sickness will grow exponentously. In another 10 years, the hanger ons, and quiet doubters, will FINALLY give up, and realize the sesspool that the once "grand" congregation has become. The sickness will now be at critical mass. No fruit will bloom, no love will reside there, only doubt, and pain and hurt. The branches will all be broken, the roots long withered and died away, and all that are left will wallow in the mud that is left behind.

Meandering thoughts of a recent JW funeral experience

i went to the kh a couple of weeks ago.

i haven't been in a kh, except for funerals, for several years.

The last time i went to the KH, it was for a bro. who died, but was also a business partner of mine. Our families became business partners BEFORE i was DF"d, but we still did some business together up until his death. I went out of respect and actual true love and admiration for this person, and wanted to support his family, even if it was just by being there. Funny thing too, but this person who passed away, was actually a PARTAKER during his later years, LOL, but thats a whole other crazy story.

Anyway, many people Love bombed me, some i hadnt seen in years, and i thought it was really cool of some, that they were willing to talk to me, right there in the KH, no matter who was looking, especially the haughty, power hungry a-hole elders,(its funny how no matter what or where, these same asshole type elders were and are in everyone heres stories).

The only people that snubbed me, were the Elders and their miserable, crusty, dry crotched wives. Not even a smile or a simple wave. Just complete and idiotic, sick, and psychotic, ignoring, and refusing to look me in my eyes. And beleive me, i am standing tall and proud, looking them in their eyes. I have nothing to be ashamed of. Since i was DF'd, instead of my life being some pitiful worldly existance, i have become a huge financial success, and have a beautiful, healthy and happy family. Word of my "success" had become so well known, that i heard the elder that DF'd me actually mentioned in a public talk about how even "some" who have been DF'd could still go on to have wonderful lives after, but this was because "they" were raised in the truth, and therfore "valuable". Such BS, i thought if you were DF'd, you were gonna whither and die from lack of Jehovahs spirit.

A few years earlier, my OWN Grandfather died, and my worldly grandmother had a wake for him. So all the JW's came, cause my parents are still in it, and those elders were all nice and giving their condolences to me, but then when i show up to the actual KH a year later, they ignore me like i am literally not standing in front of them, staring them in their eyes. Its so stupid, and such an insult to my intelligence.

A problem with the book of Daniel

left the wts some years ago, but just before i left we were studying the daniel book that they produced in the book study .. i noticed something wrong in the bible account of daniel and brought this up at the end of the study when the conductor asked if everyone understood that nights study,.

i think i may have started a topic here some years ago about this event ,it was a time when i started to question the wts in my heart and mind.the scriptures are lengthy so i will just shorten things by describing the stories in daniel and how one point really got me thinking about things and perhaps made the brothers wierd out about me sand distance themselves ,here it is..........dan ch 1-4. daniels ( who came to be called belteshazzar)in babylon along with shadrach,meshach & abednego ,daniel,after praying with these 3, interprets and states what nebuchadnezzars dream is( we all know this ,the image with the head of gold body of iron and copper etc) and they are rewarded by being positions of authority.

daniel made ruler of the province and chief prefect over babylons wise men ,the 3 were made overseers of the administation of the province ,all very important jobs ,.

What about the fact that if Shadrach, Meschach, and Abendnigo, were "God fearing Jews", then why were they even going to the plain of Dura in the first place? Especially since the purpose of going there was because Neb wanted it to be a ceremony of INAUGURATION OF A GOLDEN IDOL! The 3 in question, who were there, would have surely known what this ceremony was about, especially considering their "high positions".

That would have been like a JW today, going to a ceremony in the city, of an unveiling of a statue of Jesus on the cross, or an unveiling of a new giant American flag in the towns square. Can you imagine a JW being caught going to an event like that, and NOT getting DF'd.

hello all, i would like to first say that i am basically questioning my faith in god.

i am not negative towards the wt at all.

so honestly i am to concerned with more ad hominem attacks towards the wt because i still love the organization and the people in it.

QMF, you should "question" an organization that tells a fellow Elder, who is literally questioning the very fundamentals of the religion, to continue "sheparding", "protecting", "leading", "preaching to", "caring for", and "helping", the "flock".

How could those men, in good conscience, tell you to continue to be an Elder, if you are questioning it. It truly shows the hypocrisy that exists in the WT. Elders are supposedly appointed to protect and care for the flock, but if those Elders TRULY cared for that flock that they claim to protect, they would NEVER allow you, someone who is even questioning the existance of their God, to continue to care for the sheep.

Instead, the "chance" of losing another company policeman, out weighs the protecting of their flock.

That "infamous" Watchtower cover with the older "anointed", and saying about the passing of this 1914 generation, is so iconic. I remember it from when i was a kid, like it was yesterday.

Wouldnt it be funny to get the names of all those elderly "brothers" and "sisters", that were on the cover of that magazine, and find out which ones have passed away. I could almost guarantee that, almost, if not ALL, of them are dead. How funny would it be that all those on that cover about a generation "that would never pass away", are long dead and buried.

I bet it wouldnt be that hard to find out either. LOL, ridiculous.
