Geoffrey Jackson wanting to speak to Jesus
by notsurewheretogo ini'm still amazed he said this when he was questioned by the rc in austraila.... if anyone is in any doubt that the gb are "full on in" then that statement he made just proves these gb guys are 100% captive to the concept that they are chosen by god to be guardians of the galaxy er i mean doctrine.
.
these guys actual think, 100%, they are anointed and chosen by god to run his physical organisation on earth and that they will indeed co-rule in heaven with jc...geoffrey wants to chat to jc about the inadequate child abuse policies that the wt have since jc actually runs the show from heaven.. the gb are not master criminals or intelligent people who know how to dupe people or trick them, they fully believe 100% the bull they preach.. mental..

@ Data-dog - Lol, yeah i bet you are right, they probably do have handlers. I can picture each GB member having an effeminate, tight pants wearing, bow tie sporting, skinny dude, as an "assistant". They let them know, "how wonderful" their talk was, and that they looked " soooo cute on jw.org today". Oh Mr. Jackson, let me shine that pinky ring for you, and "fix that pocket scarf". A little powder on your nose, and you are all set my little angel. -

They are mentally diseased humans. They, literally, hear voices in their heads. What i dont understand, is if they truly are "anointed", then by definition they have a connection to Jehovah, and Jesus, and ARE in contact with them. They are, supposedly, the direct channel from God and Jesus. They have BEEN touting for years that God and Jesus "talks" to them. So, why does Jackson, WISH he could talk to Jesus, i thought he already was.
OR
Maybe, its a group of regular old men. Who are dilusional, self imposed, egotistical, maniacs. They think the voices in their heads, are God "anointing" them, and speaking to them. So, its either, they beleive this, and in turn they clearly have mental issues, or they dont beleive this, and then they are truly evil men, in it for only money, and power. Either way, this org is SICK, from the top on down to the bottom.

Who would you like to hear of leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses ?
by wozza ini'll start off with this one:.
some years ago when i was formulating my exit, i employed for some time an ms brother from another congregation.. i'd had a couple of young "worldly" lads work for me but they proved unreliable as they used drugs or alchohol and consequently would'nt arrive at work and such like.. so when i was was contacted by this brother and spoke to him and heard he'd worked at the australian bethel for some time on construction and wanted an opportunity to learn the trade of bricklaying ,i thought ,"great someone to finally trust and be reliable".
he was in his 40's at the time and he worked like a trojan ,was honest ,really likeable and interesting ,could play the classical guitar beautifully ,had a beautiful family.

Jan 2016 study WT attempt to keep control of professed anointed ones, brainwashing in action!
by EndofMysteries ina really great example of wt pulling doctrine out of their heiney that nowhere exists in the scriptures!
when i started waking up to ttatt, i remember in my own reading the tons of scriptures that speak of god, the holy spirit, etc teaching directly.
tons of scriptures that go against the wt doctrine of only able to learn through them.

The "voices" in my head, are teling me that i am "special", but ONLY us. Anything else that anybody else, hears, or feels, is not real. Its just real when I hear it. What mentally diseased humans, these men are. It is absolutely sick, and on many levels. -

Is the end of Watchtowers hated No Blood doctrine in sight?
by nicolaou ini won't pretend to know things that i don't but just look at the incredible rate of change we've witnessed recently.
it seems that since candace conti and the australian royal commission the watchtower are scrabbling around to shore up their finances in the face of unprecedented legal action against them.. abuse settlement claims are one thing but what happens when children die as a result of your religious teachings?!
you can bet wt legal are arguing for a complete rewrite of policy to protect the organisation from litigation.. do you think their religious privilege will protect them forever?

Yep, they can, and may, do all the above, and it could maybe make the WTS come out squeaky clean. What a "great and wonderful" act this would be. Praise Jehovah, that his organization, would then be squeaky clean, at the expense of childrens lives, newborn babies chances to live, and the unbearable suffering of the parents, who sacrificed their children upon the alter of the WTS. YaaaY, for the squeaky clean image of the WTS, built upon the bones of dead children. -

If, they ever decided to essentially, completely do away with the "blood issue", the WTS would have so much blood guilt, it would not be funny. If they just stopped it now, then they would be opening themselves up, morally, and legally, to all the familys who HAVE lost loved ones over the years, due to not accepting blood. The backlash, would be unprecedented, of ex-JW's, and current Jw's, who lost children to this hardlined doctrine, for it then to be done away with. Can you imagine, the legal ramifications.
Make no mistakes, the LEGAL ramifications, is the only reason that it is still in effect, but only mildly, compared to how it used to be. The BS, that the WTS is putting out concerning blood, where you CAN use this fraction, or that fraction, this part , but not that part, its all BULLSHIT. None of it is scriptural, whether concerning the fractions, or even the issue of blood itself. Even in the bible, it is DIETARY, and it was ONLY about maybe stumbling your fellow brother, then it would maybe be wise to abstain, but NOT in a case of a perons very life itself depending on it.
The fact that the WTS, has essentially, done away with it, by not being hardlined anymore, or taking fractions is OK, or knowing that the courts may intervene, anyway, is APPALING. People have died over this. People have lost their children over this. I would almost, have more respect for them, if they still stuck to their guns, and continued it to be NO BLOOD, but the fact that they are now white washing it, and sweeping it under the rug, but still COWARDLY, not fully coming out and saying its OK now, is WRONG.
The WTS is NO longer giving out any up to date blood cards. They have all but made it allowable to take almost every part of blood, that its practically allowed now, but they still wont come out and say its OK. This is appalling, as some may STILL die from this no blood policy, not even realising that the GB's stance has softened. This is so wrong on their part, and justice should, and will be served soon. Those deaths of children and others, is on the GB and WTS. The BLOOD is on their heads, and they will be judged for it, mark my words, its coming.

My experience with a Judicial Committee, when in my early 20's
by Dunedain ini joined this wonderful site, only a few weeks ago, although i have been away from the borg, for almost 20 years.
i didnt introduce myself, on a personal level, but i jumped right in, commenting, making threads, and just immersing myself in this community.
what a time, indeed, to be here, its almost as if i was "called" here, because the week i lurked, and joined, was when all this recent stuff came out.

@ - Mad irishman - I hope that is true, but i personally feel its not. The Elders are almost never held accountable for their actions. their asses are kissed, and their wrds are hung on, as the sheeple bob their heads up and down. As a whole, there is hardly any accountability to these men. What they do, behind closed doors, many times is never brought out to the "open". If someone gets DF'd, then the rest of the cong just assumes they deserved it, and or had it coming. Until it happens to them, personally, it means nothing. If someone, like myself, is truly bullied and hurt by these men, and then leaves, never coming back, then the cong thinks they deserved to be away. If you choose to eat their shit, and get reinstated, then once back, you cannot expose the Elders about what they did and said. Part of coming back, is going along with, that what they said and did was right. Either way, the Elders actions are NOT held to accountability.
@ - Everyone else - Just typing down this experience i went thru, was a bit therapuetic in of itself. I didnt expect all the other comments and support to be so helpful, and insightful. I had a feeling that others here, may have had similar experiences. I knew i wasnt the only one, lol. Thanks for all of your kind words.

Pagan Origins
by Illuminated inwhy are jw's not allowed to do certain things because they have "pagan origins", yet the very same roof over their head and the the food they place into their mouth is purchased through money with pagan origins on it?
pagan symbolism is all over money.
so if the wt leaders are so against paganism, why are they insisting "jehovah's" earthly organization needs pagan money to sustain itself, yet disfellowshipping members if they cross the line into paganism?.

Besides it being another way for them to use something for control, and create the illusion of "us and them", it also probably has financial reasons to "paganize" holidays specifically. If the members of your org are not spending countless dollars on Christmas, Birthdays, Halloween, and all the yearly holdidays with their commercial value, then this money can be given to the borg.
Its quite brilliant, if ya think about it. Tell the sheeple, " do not celebrate, and dont give your money over to paganism, but hand it over to US". Forget about using it to give your children a happy childhood. No, the children dont need that, the WTS needs your money, instead. So, in answer to the OP's question, the reason they pick and choose, is probably BECAUSE of the very money itself.
The most hypocrytical aspect of the WTS, and paganism, is also the very fact that the WTS's roots themselves ARE pagan. We see the watchtower symbol as their main symbol, yet, as brought up earlier, that symbol itself has tremendous pagan origins. The massonic symbols, that were plastered all over the original literature, are all pagan in origin. From the cross and crown, to the watchtower itself, all pagan.
Its again, just another example of them picking and choosing based on convenience and neccessity.

It really is/was such a power trip for some of these men. Yes, there are always, the "kind, older" Elders, and the "fair" ones, but usually they do NOT have the "power". They are typically bullied themselves, in a subtle way, and in turn the power hungry ones dominate.
In my case, the judicial committee that was put together for me, was with 3 heavy duty, hard asses. I mean, i was actually yelled at by these men. I was told that whatever i am going thru, I deserve, due to my past actions, and that my "fate" is in Jehovahs hands, and basically i am in for a life of heartache if i stay DF'd, which is what THEY did to me.
The beauty about this all, and i still must come back to it, is that they did me a favor. I was out now, and FREE, and at an age where i still had my whole life ahead of me.
I wound up becoming very successful in business. I have a beautiful family, and children now, and lead a wonderful, financially comfortable, life.
Word of my "success" had actually gotten back to the PO elder, who was the "main" one on my judicial committee. I actually attended a meeting many years later, and he was giving a part and specifically said something concerning me. He actually had the audacity to say, as i was sitting there, "although we may hear that certain ones who have been disfellowshipped, are leading a successful life, it only makes sense, since they were raised in the truth, and learned valuable qualities that helped them become successful". It was ridiculous, he was actually addressing me. Meanwhile, what a hypocrite, he said i was going to lead a miserable life "away" from them, but quite the opposite was true. I have FLOURISHED away from these evil men.
