"Demons" Living In My Brothers Gym Equipment
by pale.emperor inspoke to my younger brother dan yesterday (he da'd about 6 months ago).
he was telling me that he got a visit from our older brother the day before.
our older brother was raised a jw but never committed, lives a full-on "worldly" life - smokes, binge drinks, hangs out with non-jws, but he's been studying for about 6 years would you believe?.

How does mankind know what happen before we were created??
by James Mixon infor example, "and god said, let there be light: and there was light.
"a personal and vocal god said, "let there be light.
"so god saw the light, and thought it good, but how did the priestly scribe know that he did?

The Anunnaki gave it to the Sumerians, and Moses copied it from them, lol.

Even elders don’t know their beliefs
by Addison0998 ini had a deep conversation with my elder father today about the bible.
first i talked to him about luke 16:19-31. the one where jesus makes this crazy illustration regarding the afterlife.
of course he had to look it up on the watchtower library to be spoon fed his beliefs.

The old JW bull crap, one liner, that Jah will provide the answer in due time, is complete and utter NONSENSE. Many of these "points" that need clarification in "due time", are VERY big biblical doctrines.
When you break down how important these points are, it logically makes NO sense then why there would even be confusion, and why it would even need to be revealed in "due time".
Then, if you add on top of this, that some points have still not even been figured out over 120 YEARS of Jahs earthly org, it just sounds like a bunch of bullshit. A loving, all powerful God who would be directing thru his ONLY earthly channel, would never need or have to take 120 years to "decipher" "truths" that were already foretold, and written.
It makes no sense, and when they use it as their "go to" response for not being able to answer, i shut them down with this logic, why would Jah do that???

by Canadian Sunshine inif i am understanding correctly only 144,000 will go to heaven, to be with jesus and help rule?
these 144,000 are witnesses only.
there is over a million jw world wide, what happens to the rest of the faithful followers.

They are the "made" guys who eat the cookies and drink the milk, when its passed around. They cannot be whacked unless you have a "sit down" first with the Boss.

New brochure about donations.
by Ray Frankz inin this midweek meeting the local needs was a booooring speech about the new brochure on donations.
the wt must think the jws are dying to know how to give their money.. well, it's not new this is disgusting but this time, after i ve been slightly hinting people here and there for a year about the 'abnormal request of money' and remind them that 'the faithful slave wasn't like that until some time ago', this time i saw their faces.
they did get bothered with that talk.

The Borg is imploding even quicker than imagined. This is very telling indeed, especially taken as a whole, with all the lay offs, all the closing/selling of KHs, all the branches closing, and the nearly non existent printing of publications.
Law suits are a CHOP,
The lack of money is a CHOP,
The information available damning the WTBS are a CHOP,
The volume of people waking up are a CHOP,
and soon down, down down, the Tree of the WTBS will come crashing. Its rotten fruit is apparent for all to see. It is a worm infested, decayed, sick to the core, version of its former self. It bears nothing but rotten fruit, evil to the taste, only worthy of being spit out unto the ground. Nothing grows anymore on their tree, no more branches stretching to the ends of the earth. No more roots sunk deep into the foundations of the ground.
This begging for money is just another swing of the axe, and its cutting deeper and harder than ever before. Down, down, down, it will soon be crashing, and they will be forever forgotten, never to bear fruit again.

Governing Body Just got Spanked
by Bill Covert inyesterday in watchtower documents there was published "flawed decrees conceal criminals.
barbara anderson examined the rnwt revision of lev.5:1 and revealed the wtb&ts to be deceptive as to applying it to congregation members being required to "tattle" on their brothers to expose sin.
she shows that is just not so as lev.5:1 has nothing to do with tattling.

Can You Make Sense Of Jehovah’s Witnesses?
by minimus inas a child growing up, i would see different arguments to defend a certain belief.
it may have required mental gymnastics in order to make a point but there was an actual attempt to explain, teach, and educate....even if the belief or teaching was bogus.. nowadays, it appears that jws couldn’t explain any belief.
they are drones and do as “mother “ has directed..

I was a born in, and henceforth indoctrinated from infancy by the cult. My Father, once a dutiful elder and full blown Kool aid drinker, is a very educated and deeper than most thinker.
I think thats what drew him to the "truth" back in the 70s. This was the Fred Franz "oracle" days. These were the days of congregations bursting at the seams, and splitting into 2 or even 3 halls. These were the days of quick builds, and expansion into hundreds of countries. The building of branches all around the world.
The preaching work truly appeared to be the fulfillment of scripture. The reasoning book was chock full of information designed to shut down any heavy hitting born again, or even the very clergy of other religions. My father even went so far as to have a personally customized bible with the Reasoning book bound together as one.
There truly was an "air" of deep thinking, and scholarly discussions. The religion not only appealed to those with half a brain, but even to those who were firing on all cylinders.
Fast forward to today, and it is truly shadow of its former glory. Not only can the average JW not defend its "doctrine", but even the top elders will have a very hard time defending things. From the overlapping generation NONSENSE, to the screeching halt of the preaching work, expansion, growth, there is nothing to defend.
It is a watered down, mockery of its former self. The GB putting on their JW.org shows, only adds to the fact that these men are MORONS without a full brain cell between the 7 of them. They cant teach, they cant defend it, they cant hold it together anymore. They are the CEOs of a sinking ship.
Needless to say, my Father who was drawn to this religion BECAUSE of its "deepness", is still proving that he IS the smartest man in the room, as where the religion is NOW, has made him checkout. Most would have just continued going and not be true and honest to themselves. It takes a brave, and educated person to admit when things do not seem right anymore, and to not accept the lies any longer.
My very smart Father refused to take it anymore, and has all but faded from the nonsense. Their deeper thinking brought him in, and their now lack of it, brought him out.

Noah`s day Flood ? ( again) Waters Covering Active Volcanoes ?
by smiddy3 ini know their have been many posts dedicated to this subject already and i apologize if this aspect has been handled before.. apart from the many other absurdities relating to the flood of noah`s day being literal as jehovah`s witnesses believe and already thrashed out here by the many posts previous.. i was wondering if this aspect has been considered that the waters would have had to cover over active volcanoes with what result ?.
their are a number of" active and resting" volcanoes at any one time around the earth and i`m just wondering if anyone more knowledgeable than me about the subject would like to weigh in and give their 2 cents worth in what effect a global flood covering volcanoes would have ?.
i am aware their are fissures in the deep oceans where volcanic activity occurs ,but is this the same ?.

All the volcanoes being instantly covered with water caused so much steam, that the Ark become the first steamboat. Supposedly there were lots of casino games being run at this time, on the Ark, and Noahs sons wives would walk around in skimpy outfits, pushing free drinks on little trays.
They animals were very big gamblers at this time, too. Nobody liked playing cards with these 2 certain cats, they were cheetahs, and always ruined the games.
Ahh, those were the days of old. The great Volcanic, flood, steamboat Ark days of yonder. What a rich history we on Earth have.

Craziest Speculations You’ve heard about the end and paradise
by Addison0998 inwe’ve all heard them all our life.
my two biggest stupidest ones i think are, “ we can really tell the end is almost here with the way people drive on the highway.” and a girl who said she wants to hurry up and marry her boyfriend because she’s scared if the end comes before their married, she’ll have to wait 1000 years to marry him.
oh and also a poor old lady saying that she hopes jehovah wipes away the memory of her disfellowshipped sons that he will have to destroy.

I remember an Elder saying that all these white and black kids walking around with headphones in their ears, and reciting rap lyrics, were being controlled by demons, and it truly shows that these are the last days.

I used to work with a brother about 25 years ago. Every year he would say, " I cant see us making it past another year", and " If this system is still around". He would say it almost weekly, mind you i worked with him for many years, and saw him almost every day.
Well, we parted ways about 20 years ago, but still have very minor business dealings here and there. I sat down with him about 2 years ago to go over a little business arrangement, and he still, after 20 something years, had the balls to say, " If we are still in this system by this time next year".
I looked at him and said, " Really? you are STILL saying that". I then chuckled a bit, to make light of it, but i think i still got my point across.
