The real sad thing here, is that this is all nothing new. They have been spewing this bullshit for years. The pre-1975 hype, that was riled up by Fred Franz, was spouting all this crap too. They were parading folks on the assembly stages, who just sold their houses, and "worldly" possesions, because the "end" was near, and what do ya need a house for. Dont go to college, what good is an education, when the system is ending in a year. Every so many years they LOVE to amp up this crap.
Russel had his 1914, Rutherford had his 1930's, or whatever, and Franz wanted to "fit in" with the big dogs, so he had the 1975 hype, and it ALL FAILED.
How long can you keep spewing the same old crap, and still getting it WRONG, before you say whats going on here? But the problem is, the WTS are master manipulators. They use smoke and mirrors, and half truths, but more importantly HIDE the PAST. If they keep the newer ones, and the younger ones, and the average R&F, in the dark about their previous lies and false predictions, then you can keep spouting the same old crap, but like its "new" crap.
Forget your possesions, unless its to give to us. Forget your own happiness. Forget your own ideas. Forget your own families. Forget your own education, cause we need ya stupid. Do what we say, when we say it, how we say it, and do not question, EVEN if we do not hold up our end of the bargain. This is all nothing new folks, they have been spewing this junk for over 100 years now.

its funny how, one of the biggest things concerning jw's, is their claim of "true christianity", based on that they do not "go to war".
it is, certainly true, that yes they do not go to war, and i do not think that any of us here, would neccesarilly say that this is a bad thing.

This is just a thought i had, earlier today, and wanted to share it. Its funny how, one of the BIGGEST things concerning JW's, is their claim of "true christianity", based on that they do not "GO TO WAR". It is, certainly true, that yes they do not go to war, and i do not think that any of us here, would neccesarilly say that this is a bad thing. Maybe, it is cowardly, or easy to not go to war, and i truly believe Jesus would have NEVER gone to war, and maybe its even a "cop out" to not go to war, but it IS a decent value.
HOWEVER, the WTS may not go to war, and pick up a gun for a nation, but they will, and do, go to war everyday. They war against families, with their brutal tactics of shunning and disfellowshipping. They war against children, and their safety from an abusive organization. They war against their own members who are maybe effeminate in their speech, or masculine in their walk. They war against their own members, who question a doctrine, or bring up a point of debate. They war against young adults, who may be on the "fence", and might need MORE encouragement, but might be seen as "spiritualy week", so are ostrasized and shunned. They war against their own members personal relationship with the creator of the universe, by JUDGING if you are spiritual or not, by the clothes you wear, or the haircut you have, or the pitch of your voice.
They WAR against the very teachings of Jesus. They WAR against his example of LOVE. They WAR against those who seek to find him, and have a personal relationship with him, unless it is thru THEIR manmade rules. They WAR against truth, by publishing lies, by using "smoke and mirrors", and mis-quoting publications, just to deceive their own members. They WAR against the bible, by adding to it, and misquoting it, and making false prophesies, with false predictions.
Yes, its true the WTS, may not go to war, by picking up a gun against an unnamed face, that is in a land far away. No they are responsible for a much harsher war against the people right in front of them. Against the people who trust them the most. Against the people they are supposed to shepards, own spirituality. Their war has a body count in the millions, against peoples very lives, spiritually, and literally from the deaths of the innocents by no blood, no vaccines. They are at war with their own flock, berating them, punishing them, and torturing their very minds and souls, with their ruthless, brutal, unloving practices, and all in the name of God.
They know MUCH war, and their casulties are great indeed.

Our KING, i thought Jesus Christ was "our KING". If that statement is true, and nowadays i hardly doubt anything these men say anymore, then talk about worshiping MEN over God. Kings, thruout history, have always been bowed to, and worshipped, but we are never to do this to any men, or man.
@ - Wannaexit - Did you, by any chance, get a recording of that talk, or video of it? I would LOVE to see that, it would be such "damning" evidence, and if i played that for my father, it would make him "think", about that one.

No 'Tight Pants' policy is now official - classed as 'disturbing'

Among the wonderful, and unique, variety found within human beings, there are many different traits, and characteristics. Some women are soft spoken, and "dainty". Some women are outspoken, and not afraid to get dirty. You can have a woman who is perfectly capable of changing a tire, or turning a wrench. Another woman might love her painted nails, and well manicured clothing. Among men, you can have someone who hates bugs, and germs, and hates getting dirty. You may have a man who, just plain doesnt care about his clothing, or some dirt under his nails. Or a guy who wears perfectly tailored suits, without a crease in them.
Some woman may "carry" themselves like a "tomboy". Maybe there is a female who "walks" a certain way, or is heavy on her feet. Maybe a dude who has a high pitched voice, or a certain mannersim that can come off a certain way, and he doesnt even realise it.
Everybody is different, and unique, in their own way. Mannerisms, come thru from a person, based on where they were raised, or how they "carry" themselves is natural to them. Clothing can "fit" each person DIFFERENTLY, because of each of us's own body type. The SAME EXACT outfit can look "tight" on one person, and lose on the person right next to them. More importantly, all of these characteristics, mannerisms, and variety of "types", DO NOT, neccessarily, dictate ones SEXUALITY, or preferance sexually.
How can these "rules" even be enforced? Who are the "judges" of what is tight? Or what is "manly"? Or what is "feminine"? How short of a haircut, is TOO short? What "style" of hair dictates if its TOO masculine, instead of feminine? There are no clearly defined parameters. . . . . . . . . . .
YET, the outcome, and PUNISHMENT, can be LIFE THREATENING!! We can easily joke, and dismiss, the preaching work, saying that it would almost be a "favor" not having to do it, BUT, according to WTS own doctrine, the preaching work is paramount to being a chosen true christian, and it means everything to the followers of this cult. To take that away from someone, based on arbitrary, undefined, tightness os PANTS, or LENGTH of hair, IS CRAZY!!!!!!!
This is just giving the WTS's enforcer class, the elders, more power to institute their own agenda. They will harm people with this. They will ostrasize youths with this. They will push some out, causing more inner turmoil, and confusion, in young ones whos lives are so fragile to begin with, and instead need nurturing, not bullying.
The abusers, continue to ABUSE the flock. They brow beat, and berrate the sheep. Whipping and hitting the innocents, with fear, and hate, and an unloving concern. The more the GB pushes the will of old, mentally diseased men, who are out of touch with the teachings of Jesus, the more they will decrease their numbers, and push away their members. The childrens very lives are being crushed in their false prophetic hands. They are serpents with 2 tongues.

They are mentally diseased humans. They, literally, hear voices in their heads. What i dont understand, is if they truly are "anointed", then by definition they have a connection to Jehovah, and Jesus, and ARE in contact with them. They are, supposedly, the direct channel from God and Jesus. They have BEEN touting for years that God and Jesus "talks" to them. So, why does Jackson, WISH he could talk to Jesus, i thought he already was.

Maybe, its a group of regular old men. Who are dilusional, self imposed, egotistical, maniacs. They think the voices in their heads, are God "anointing" them, and speaking to them. So, its either, they beleive this, and in turn they clearly have mental issues, or they dont beleive this, and then they are truly evil men, in it for only money, and power. Either way, this org is SICK, from the top on down to the bottom.

Who would you like to hear of leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses ?

some years ago when i was formulating my exit, i employed for some time an ms brother from another congregation.. i'd had a couple of young "worldly" lads work for me but they proved unreliable as they used drugs or alchohol and consequently would'nt arrive at work and such like.. so when i was was contacted by this brother and spoke to him and heard he'd worked at the australian bethel for some time on construction and wanted an opportunity to learn the trade of bricklaying ,i thought ,"great someone to finally trust and be reliable".
he was in his 40's at the time and he worked like a trojan ,was honest ,really likeable and interesting ,could play the classical guitar beautifully ,had a beautiful family.
