  a new montra that was recently adopted by the wife and i is this:.

  dont give them more power than they deserve.. here's why i say that, and i point this to those of you still in the congregation, still trying to decide what you want to do.. recently, our family had a little family reunion gathering of sorts, and we were in the company of some extended family that were either df or da, to varying degrees.

  we made it very clear, to any and all in attendance, that we wanted to be respectful and kind, despite any previous perceptions about our "status".... and that our feelings on a lot of things had "softened", and "changed" over the last 2 years.. i am being purposefully slightly vague, but i think you get the point.

  I have been saying this for some time now. You guys are all 100 percent correct. If we/you dont feed into their BS, and play their "game", then they cannot do anything. These MEN, do NOT have ANY power. It is only in their heads.

  Think about it, were ANY Elders "elected", or chosen by the congregation? NOPE. Why, just because a few, puffed up with pride, judgemental, power hungry, delusional MEN, meet in a back room and say " you are an elder now", that gives them some kind of spiritual authority over us??? I dont think so!

  If any of these MEN continue,or try to "harrass" you, we should all say to them, "who are YOU, what authority do you have over me, I did NOT choose you to lord over me, someone else did that, and I DONT need to listen to you".

  If i could go back in time to 20 years ago, but as the 40 year old MAN i am today, i can assure you NONE of those men would BULLY, JUDGE, and say anything close to what they said to me, when i was a cult controlled 20 year old boy. They are NOT shepards, or care takers of the flock. They are self imposed bullys, looking to berate, and hound the flock. There is NO love in them, only a will to inflict their "power". BUT, they have NO power. They are NOTHING, and especially if we do not feed into their own, self created "hierarchy". None of us put them in their position, so therefore, none of us should be affected by their position.

  As Gandalf would say, "YOU HAVE NO POWER HERE", lol.

  I just found out that my youngest brother committed suicide

  my middle brother called me a couple of hours ago.

  our youngest brother, josh, who was 38, was found by his friends in his apartment.

  he hung himself.

  WOW, thats horrible! I am so sorry for your loss, man. It must be almost immpossible to process right now. You are probably going to be going through a shit ton of emotions, and it may be very hard to "navigate" them, so if ya need to talk, and or vent, or "sort" things out, for what its worth, i am sure everyone here will be happy to talk with ya. Again, sorry for this bad news that you received, hang in there.

  What were Satan and his demons "doing" up in heaven, before being "cast down" in 1914?

  i was just thinking about how the wts has been spouting off for years that satan and his demons were cast down to the vicinity of the earth in 1914, but really, when you think about it, what was the difference before 1914 or after 1914?.

  its not like satan and his demons did not have access to the earth.

  I was just thinking about how the WTS has been spouting off for YEARS that Satan and his demons were cast down to the vicinity of the earth in 1914, but really, when you think about it, what was the difference before 1914 or after 1914?

  Its not like Satan and his demons did not have access to the earth. According the the bible, and the org, he was in the garden of eden, using a snake to "screw" with Adam and Eve. They have been "messing" with Gods "seed" from the beginning, and all the way thru the whole bible. Satan and his "organisation", according to the WTS, have been responsible for all the evils in this world. From Using Cain, Nimrod, all the nations that opposed Isreal, the world powers, and up unto this very day by "misleading" or trying to tempt Jehovahs people, lol.

  So, basically, we can assume from this, that Satan and his demons were ALWAYS was dealing with humanity, and in the "vicinity" of the earth. Really then, whats the difference, after 1914, or before 1914, as he was always "messing" with humanity and in a very intimate way, IN and ON the earth.

  So, if he, since 1914, is ONLY "stuck" in the "vicinity" of the earth, (A) Whats the difference?

  AND

  (B) What was he and his demons "doing" differently before 1914?

  If the ONLY change, after 1914, is that he is stuck in the vicinity of planet earth, then, logically, we must conclude that he/they were "doing" something up in HEAVEN. So, what could that be? Revelations says that there was a "war in heaven", and the WTS concludes that this means their butts were kicked down to earth and humanity, even though they were messing with us anyway, whatever.

  So, what were they doing in heaven? Were they "harrassing" Jehovah, and Jesus? Were they "misleading" other "good" angels? Did this kind of crap, just start AFTER Adam was created, or was it before, too? If it was before, then why would God even dare to create mankind, if there was "issues". If Satan and his demons ONLY started messing with "heaven", after mans creation, then according to bible/WTS chronology, that would have only been happening for around 6000 years, and STOPPED at 1914, when they were "cast down" to earth. Is THAT enough time for "issues" to be settled IN THE SPIRIT WORLD?

  It seems like Satan and his demon gang, must have really been "annoying" God and the angels. I mean, there was a WAR, right? What were they doing to them? Hurling insults? Calling then "nerds" up in heaven? Saying things like, "ha ha, we get to hang out on earth and YOU cant"?

  When you put it ALL down in words, it REALLY shows how it ALL just reads like BS. If 1914 was such a pivitol year, according to the WTS, then how the WTS presents it, creates all these questions. Satan and his demons ALWAYS were messing with earth. They were ALWAYS within the vicinity of earth. What were they doing in HEAVEN, then, that caused them to NOW at 1914, to have to be kept ONLY in the vicinity of earth? Is it that "chaotic" up in Jehovahs "spirit" world, that Satan and his boys were just all helter skelter up there?

  Whats everybodys thoughts on this? It just seems so ridiculous, BUT these kind of questions and "doctrine" ARE the cornerstone of JW theology. Think about it. . . . . . .

  i find it interesting that the other night they announced that literature is not to be left indiscriminately.

  they said to only leave literature if the householder engages you in conversation.

  it used to be that they would try to get any literature into every hand of every person.

  @ - JW Gonebad - Actually, if you think about it, maybe its not such a bad thing. Once, the already financially burdened, R&F buy all that expensive electronics, there aint gonna be any more money to put in the contribution boxes. Just another example of the fat pigs, on top, making stupid decisions that only backfire on the them, lol.

  i'm doing well, 10 years since my missionary trip to cameroon.

  Many people are saying how the WTS is now in a slow decline, and reading all the rapid, and recent changes, how can you not. Personally, i beleive the WTS was in a slow decay for the past 2 decades, and NOW we are seeing the RAPID collapse of it.

  Things in a large corporation, dont go "south" quickly. It takes time, based on years of poor planning, and decision making. However, once they reach the point of "no return", things unravel at a quicker pace. We are, undoubtly, at this point NOW.

  The past 20 years, was the slow "rot". The poor planning, foolish "moves" on EVERY level. NO nurturing of the flock. Not knowing just where they "stand", in this modern world, as they NEVER planned on being here for over 100 years. There has been no true leader, since Franz's death. The torch was passed, and dropped quickly, and in such a short period of time, and then to finally "land" on the current GB, shows that there is NOBODY to lead.

  The foundation is crumbling, and it is at its final stage. The proof is in all the rapid, erratic, and many changes, in such a short period of time. This shows the DESPERATION in their actions. The final nail in the coffin is their financial problems. Throw that on top of an already collapsing organisation, with a weakened foundation, and it is just too much for them to bear any longer. We ARE at this stage NOW.

  This organisation, with its claims of DIVINITY, was built on lies. That "foundation" alone, is weak. It is now over 100 years later. The lies have come full circle. The world can see it, from the touch of a computers buttons. It is, utterly, and completely exposed. This weak founded organisation has never prepared for being around for this long. It does not know how to navigate the current "world" we live in, and its "backwoods" old world rhetoric, is from a long by gone age. There is no leadership, only desperation. The decay has been for the last few decades, now we are witnessing the destruction.

  some people point out the subliminal pictures in the wtbts publications but sometimes things are just so obvious, such as the title of the book above.. the person who came up with the title for this book must have had a good old laugh.. interestingly, this book first came out in 1988 and has not been included in the online library but nothing has replaced it.

  the org is really going backwards when they ditch old light and cannot come up with anything new.

  they are real wankers ;)..
