my rant tonight is against the quasi religious apologists that post on this board.

those who at once rail against the jw's then later talk about how "orderly" and "neat" the witnesses are at their conventions.

those who site the benefits of bloodless surgery to some who have the luxury and time to actually make an educated choice, while ignoring the tens of thousands who've died because they happen to be in an accident or succumb to a disease for which there is no other treatment.. i understand the power of cognitive dissonance.

New commentary on revelation coming up?

together through the great tribulation - come to jehovah's mountain.

IF this IS true, and this current regime of nitwits are attempting a Revelation book, then we may very well be witnessing THE book that may be one of the final "nails" in WBT$'s "coffin".

This book could very well cause the "tipping" point in MANY of the 40 year olds, and older, in the Borg, to FINALLY throw in the towel.

This book will be the "blessing" we have all been waiting for. They do NOT have the "expertise" to craft a coherent, logical, examination of Revelation, AND one in which they will be trying to FIT the JW religion/idealogy into.

When they tried with the first book, to FIT themselves, including conventions, arbitrary dates, and other nonsense, into the "prophesies" of Revelations, they failed miserably. This attempt will be an utter crap show, most likely laugh out loud, at its weakest moments, and mouth gasping, at its crazy moments.

I can almost guarantee it will NOT be a verse by verse, but probably a "chunk by chunk" version of dissecting Revelations. There will be a lot of "cherry picking", and sweeping many verses under the carpet. It will be like a 5th grader trying to write a "deep" thinking, interpretation of Revelation, and with also trying to add the 5th graders immediate family into the book, as "symbolic" equals of its main characters. It will be a complete fail.

This is the same GB that "charted" and "graphed", the new overlapping generation horseshit. We all know how that went, lol.

However, remember, this GB's overlapping generation bullcrap, is STILL contributing to many, many, JW's "waking up". Like I said earlier, especially, many JW's that were born ins, and in their 40's, or older. Can you imagine, this GB's attempt at a Revelations book. It will be, pure and utter NONSENSE, and it WILL also wake up MANY.

I can see the idiotic charts, and graphs, now, being confusing, and un-readable. The basic discussions will be forced, and contrived. The pictures will be emotionally driven, and scary. The best will be, that because they will keep second guessing themselves, it will all be done in "broad strokes", and "sweeping" explanations, and will come across as nonsense. They will be AFRAID to include the U.N., and directly saying what modern institutions are symbolized by the "beasts", and "prophesies".

It will be a watered down, juvenile, attempt, that will only contribute to members waking up, and scratching their heads. It will undermine the GB's authority, and "power", and show that the ONLY "holy spirit" directing these people is the gas they have from last nights tacos.

These are exciting times my friends. This GB's attempt at a Revelation book will be the "trumpet sounds", and "pouring out of bowls", all symbolizing their OWN end, not anything elses. This will be the REVELATION of their own destruction, and while very much alive, they will be throwing THEMSELVES into the "lake of fire", simply by writing THIS book.

Scary Dream

My 7 year old daughter is into these tiny, collectable toys, called Shopkins. She has THOUSANDS of these Goddamn things, lol.

Well, I had a "nightmare" the other night, that I found a Shopkins limited edition, and accidentally threw it away, before I gave it to my daughter.

If anyone here, knows anything about Shopkins, then you understand why this was a nightmare.

How Long Does This Religion Have Left?

the generation that will be no means pass away have passed away.. the 144,000 were sealed up in 1935, oh, no wait, we got that wrong, we still have some.. russel is the faithful and wise servant... oh, no he wasn't it was me, rutherford... no, actually, we got that wrong it's knorr... erm, no we mean the governing body.. shunning is pagan, true christians would never do that (1946)... oh, actually, we should do that too.. the revelation book has been re-written.. the un is the satan's visible organisation.. wtbs signs up for fellowship with the un in 1991.. exposed in the guardian newspaper so ends it's fellowship in 2001.. the greatest man book is now obsolete and replaced with another jesus book.. the mags are reduced in pages.. encouraged to use tablets instead of actual books to save paper (money).

halls being sold off.. congregations sharing halls.. society owned buildings being sold off.. video pertitioning for money only last year to fund a new building.. bethelites reduced.. missionaries sent back home.. young members leaving.. long time members discovering the history and leaving.. how long do you think this religion has left?

i cant see it being here in another 100 years.

The WTB$ has been in a slow, but steady decline for about 20 years now. It is NOW starting to reach a more rapid decline. What took 20 years to decrease, will now take 5, and so on and so forth.

The information/internet age has GUTTED them, and that aspect of it has not even peaked yet. The organizations VERY hardlined, trigger happy, judgemental, ways of the early to late 90's, caused MANY, MANY, of the orgs youths to be DF'd. What the Org didn't realize is that this hard lined stance caused the potential "cream" of their youth to LEAVE, and never look back.

Many of us here, would have been that "cream", and perhaps would have ushered this org into a new "golden age" if you will. Instead WE are the ones exposing their lies, and the "domino" effect of all of this is continuing now at a rapid pace.

They are DESPERATE now. Their past is exposed for the LIES, and false prophecies, that it is. Their CORE doctrines have changed, and flip flopped, that there is no "sense" of who or what they are anymore. The money is running out, they are no longer "milking" the cow, they have finally "butchered" the cow, instead. Yes, they are raking in some final, big chunks of money, by selling off their prime real estate, but that's the "butchering" of the "cow". Once you butcher it, yes you get a lot for the meat, but its OVER after that. Milking a cow last a lot longer, and is more profitable in the long run, but if you are indeed running out of money, then you must sell off the cow.

Then there is NOTHING left to milk. The members of the org, are in 3rd world countries, where they have no money. The members of the org in first world countries, are in the poorer, economic, sections of society, now. This org, looked down on secular jobs, and education, so NOW its followers are uneducated, poorer members of society, and are NOT contributing enough.

The older members of the org, that perhaps may have some money, and in the PAST would have willed it to the society, are now NOT doing that. The idiots in charge of this org, have systematically ostrasized its older members, betraying them, if you will. The older ones, TRULY see the changes, and do NOT believe the bullshit anymore. Guess what, when they pass away, this org is NOT getting their money anymore, like it used to.

This all did not happen overnight. It has been many years in the making. The difference now, is that all the "holes" in the ship are filling with "water" at a rapid pace now. They cannot plug the holes faster than they form any longer. The ship IS sinking NOW.

How long it takes to sink, is anyones guess, but as the old saying goes "follow the money". Well, they are running out of it, hence the sell-offs, and down sizing, and lay-offs. We ARE witnessing the "ship" starting to sink. It will go down. It will fall below the raging waters. The "captains" in charge have sunk their own boat, and ALL of US here that have left the ship long ago, are sailing safely away on our life boats.

Green Burial

so my cousin gave up her fight against bowel cancer a couple of weeks ago.

yesterday was the funeral.

i haven't experienced a green burial before.

WOW, that's some "heavy" stuff. Really puts things into perspective, doesn't it. This really made me think about how it must be like when you KNOW you only have a handful of days left. You must literally cherish EVERY minute. Its sad, and beautiful, at the same time.

We all go thru every day, usually, taking for granted each minute, and the small pleasures that are most times right in front of us, and at the same time the greatest things in our life.

I always thought the modern custom of viewing an embalmed body, that's just laying there for all to see, was a bit weird, to say the least. Its just kinda odd to me, and it always seemed forced, in my opinion. Like this is the custom, so lets all just walk up and look at the body, it never sits right with me, no matter how many times I have been to funerals/wakes.

I also always found that the burials, and graveyards, themselves, are so sterile, monotonous, and odd, as well. Seeing the rows and rows of headstones, is disturbing, to say the least.

That's why, this experience of this "green burial", seems really nice. I think that planting a tree, and using trees as "markers", is a really cool idea. There seems to be a ton more beauty in this type of funeral/burial. Amongst the woods, and around nature, seems like a great idea.

@ Fulano - No, I was not in the Brooklyn heights congregation. I was born and raised in another borough, which is right next to Brooklyn. My old cong was in this borough too. Staten Island, for anonymity I wont mention my exact old congregation, but knowing the borough will narrow it down a bit, lol.

what about this change?

Really, what this all points to, is that the GB have absolutely no fu@#ing idea what they are talking about, preaching about, interpreting, and supposedly teaching.

@ - Fulano - I HAVE met a governing body member in person, and on MANY occasions. In fact he was the PRESIDENT of this man made/run organization.

His name was Brother Henschel. He on the outside for all intents and purposes, seemed and was a nice person.

However, let me explain how I, PERSONALLY, got to know this man. You see, when I was in the "truth", I was married to my young wife, who was "in", and so was her VERY RICH grandmother. I happen to have been born and raised in a borough of NYC, literally NEXT to Brooklyn. Mind you, 20 years ago, when this all occurred, the GB ws still very much living in Brooklyn Bethel, not upstate NY.

Well, my EX Grandmother in law, LOVED to throw her money around, and made sure EVERYONE in the WBT$ knew she was "from money". She also LOVED the "high society", and the "whos who", of the "truth". If she was a worldly person, with the same money, she would have surrounded herself with lawyers, judges, and poloticians, and maybe even famous persons, if she could have.

Being, though, that she was in the "truth", instead she used her money to surround herself with the WBT$'s "high society". She LOVED the elders, and especially LOVED the Brooklyn Bethel Elders in my old congregation. Especially the older husband and wife couple from Bethels writing dept. They would get "green handshakes", ALL the time. Those "green handshakes" led to MANY invitations to Bethel, and sitting at the "FINEST TABLES". Those that KNOW old scholl Brooklyn Bethel, know exactly what I mean.

Yes, she would be at the GB's tables, and it WAS GREEN HANDSHAKES for ALL. She didn't stop there, in fact she went right for the TOP. Once she met, the then President Henschel, she was in her glory. She would drop SOO MUCH money into his PERSONAL POCKET, it was RIDICULOUS.

Brother Henschel, LOVED her SO SO much, for some reason SHE was invited back, oh so many times. In my ex-Grandmother in laws mind, it wa her fast track into being "judged" righteous into the new system, and in the PRESIDENT OF JEHOVAHS ORGANIZATION, it was EASY MONEY.

She LITERALLY would call him "HER ANGEL", and not ONCE did he say, "oh stop I am just a humble servant", OR " no no I am not worthy of titles", NOPE he took it all in, both mentally and monetarily. Their "relationship" was so odd and "financially intertwined", that brother Henschel, the President of the GB, went to my ex-wifes BRIDAL SHOWER. He was the ONLY MALE there, and sat there with a smug entitled look, all the while my ex-Grandmother in law calling him "her angel", and you better believe he got paid very well to be there.

I know all of this, and witnessed this PERSONALLY, as I was the groom, and son in-law, and at the time in "good standing" from a decent family in the "truth", and was therefore invited to these "outings" to Bethel too.

I sat at the TOP/HEAD tables. I met with and talked with these GB members on MANY occasions. NO, I did not know anything about them "behind the scenes", NO I cannot "read their hearts", but I saw with my OWN EYES, how they WERE WORSHIPPED, and how they acted when they were. I saw them LOVE someone, especially when there was a NICE GREEN HANDSHAKE involved. These were the ones who would be ALWAYS invited back, and my ex-Grandmother in law, was one of them.

Mind you, this was the OLDER group of GB's. Some, including myself, would say they were actually a BETTER group of GB's, and I SAW the BULLSHIT. I can ONLY IMAGINE whats up with this CURRENT group, who is building the "castles" upstate, and secure little "slice of paradise", on the backs of the masses that worship them.

They are NOT humble men. They are oppurtunists who happen to be on the TOP of the pyramid. Power corrupts, but absolute power, corrupts ABSOLUTELY. I saw this at the ages of 19 and 20 years old, when I watched the so called "humble" President of the society, take my ex Grandmother in-laws money, and "bathed' in her compliments and the "TITLES" given him, and he allowed that money to influence both her and his/their lives of "high society".

Remember, when the President of the society, and the top GB member goes to, and is the ONLY brother there, amongst cackling sisters, you better believe he got paid very nicely for it. I still have the video to prove it, lol, scumbags.

instead, i will give little snippets, what a certain elder said at this or that point, how jehovah's organization treated us, how we handled our gradual awakening to, yes, "the truth about the truth.

@ TMS - I think many of us here, can relate to your story, and the unfairness, and hypocrisy that probably occurred at your sons JC.

I went thru it myself. I was DF'd by3 IDIOTS, that I thought were supposed to be "loving, concerned, shepards".

Well a true "shepherd" would NEVER allow a member of its flock to be thrown to the "wolves", so to speak. If Elders are disfellowshipping someone, they are literally and spiritually throwing them out of the congregation, and in turn, into the world.

How does this make ANY sense? Shepherd boys to this day, were and are, experts at slinging stones, as they would CONSTANTLY whip them at any predatory animals that encroached upon their flock.

Would any sane shepherd, instead throw one of its sheep to those same predatory animals, simply because that sheep started to stray a bit from the flock, or lose its way?

The way Elders act in their indiscriminate, and arbitrary ways of disfellowshipping, it makes them spiritual MURDERERS, not shepherds.

The Elders are the SS soldiers of the JW CULT. They are the henchmen of a man made, diseased "religion", that worships 7 human beings from Brooklyn. The elders are the most "fanatical" of this CULT, which in turn makes them the MOST mentally brain washed of the organization.

If you truly believe you are appointed by "holy spirit", and have the "power" to "judge" fellow human beings, literally believing you can read hearts, yet with no more credentials than a child playing MAKE BELEIVE, then I am sorry, but you are a sick, and twisted person, blinded by your own delusions of grandeur.

When I was DF'd, I was a 20 year old child. If I was the 40 year old man I am now, it would have gone a lot different, and with black eyes, and bloody noses for everyone.

But, you know what the best revenge is, it is living a good and productive life. Since the days of my DF ing, I have become a self made millionaire with a beautiful family, completely free of the CULT, and living a wonderful life.

My life has even become the "talk" of the elders that DF'd me. Since word has spread to many in my ex congregation of how prosperous and fulfilling my life has become, it literally prompted the elders to mention it on the platform. These elders thought my life was going to be a "worldly mess", and I would come crawling back to them, begging for mercy. Nope, quite the opposite, and the elders had to do "damage control", and mention that "although SOME who have been DF'd may appear to be doing well, they truly cant be, because Jah isn't blessing them".

Ha the jokes on them. They ARE stuck in the brain washing, men worshipping, life controlling CULT, and I am free of all man made bondage, never to be controlled again, and LOVING every minute of it.
