the toll of being PIMO
by enoughisenough infor those of you who are pimo, how do you feel it may be effecting your mental and physical health?
is it easy to pretend to be what you are not?
how do you feel about falsely supporting the pimi which builds them up and therefore an org you don't believe in?

Internal Watchtower Statistics Re: Disfellowshipping and Shunning
by NotFormer indoes the wt have a person/department/section tasked with compiling data and analysing it statistically.
or have they started doing something like that now that they are hiring external consultancies?.
i ask the question because i'm wondering if such studies and statistical analysis would show any link between the harshness of the disfellowshipping policy as it is applied and the dropout rate of people within the organisation who have just had enough.. in previous threads it has been pointed out that the old approach isn't effective any more.

Hi SeaBreeze. Your brother was appointed as an Elder at 19? Maybe as an MS., but NOT as an Elder.

What the Trinitarian perspective on John 8.28?
by slimboyfat inthis is not a verse that i’ve seen feature heavily in trinitarian debates but it seems to me it presents a problem for the trinity.
if there are any around i’d be interested to know your perspective, or anything you can find on the meaning and how it doesn’t contradict the trinity.
the verse says:.

Why are you guys arguing over the Trinity? There are countless threads on this forum already, and have exhausted the subject ad nauseam. Why spin your wheels on something so petty?

Hailstone message AND everyone will be saved? Questions
by slimboyfat ini’ve not been paying close attention to watchtower developments, but talking to a jw yesterday it occurred to me the society (yes, still use that term - old school) have been sending out mixed messages in recent years.
from what i gather, a few years ago the gb announced that during the great tribulation jws would be required to preach a “hailstone message of judgement” which involved telling people it was too late for them to repent and they were definitely going to be destroyed.
there were hints that this could be very soon, “any day now” preaching could stop and the hailstone message come in, kind of thing.

1) notsurewheretogo- You are absolutely correct.
2) Tonus- There are no “JW Lite” people. MikeJW is the same person as Elderberry, Elena, ExBethelitePIMA, and a few others.
Conclusion- You are all being trolled!!

Yo Mike,
Here’s a revolutionary thought- Lie to them and say you are fully vaccinated!
They can’t verify it anyway. You are lying about everything anyway!

Can you openly express doubts in the congregation these days?
by Elena ini know of a lovely old sister who has been a jw for several decades now who openly expresses doubts about jw interpretations.. she does it in such a lovely way and everyone loves her.
she is such a sweet old soul, makes everyone happy around her.. she has said things like- even if we have got it wrong about this and that i still believe the bible is gods word”.
she answers up regularly and she goes on ministry groups but like most of us she is definitely jwlite, we don’t really do door to door work anymore.

Hi everyone,
Don’t get too worked up about “Elena”. You are being trolled. This is the same person as Jehovaxx, ElderBerry, ExBethelitePima, and a couple of other handles I can’t remember at the moment. Sometimes claims to be still serving Elder, sometimes a poor little sister, etc.
Again, you are being trolled……
