The blueberries were spectactular. I also liked the creamed beef and their fried chicken.

Total in my career probably around 20-25. For many different reasons: porneia, stealing, apostasy (yes the irony doesnt escape me) I always try to avoid them if at all possible. As Blondie stated it does depend on the cong. and all the mentioned factors. In my first cong as elder there were very few cases. Went to one with a core bunch of tween/teens and bam! porneia, abhorrent pornography, even an orgy of teeneagers inexplicably allowed to have a sleep over at someones home.. lol Honestly lots of normal teenager things.

Here comes Baruch again
by stillin insomehow this weeks book study, which covered some more about baruch, managed to turn it into a slam against education or trying to improve yourself very much.
ok, he didn't "seek great things for himself.
" but to twist that into the diatribe against college education, under the pretense of a bible study, is simply appallingly irresponsible!

I always thought that "the great things" that Baruch was "seeking" were material things, wealth and prominence....over 40 years a jw, never remember it being applied to education. Must be a new direction.
It is still material things and prominence but now they are implying that those things go hand in hand with higher education. As if a window washer can not be prideful, self absorbed or materialistic.

I have been saying it for months now...this Jeremiah book is nothing more than an attempt for the Org to push its policies under the guise of "bible principles" makes me sick really.

Were You Ever Interrogated By The Elders?

Yes, the first time I was deleted as an elder. If I had TTATT I would not have accepted re-appointment a year later. Basically I was told that I wasnt visible enough in the ministry and I was missing meetings. They couldn't crack open the bible and explain with any logic how or why that would disqualify me but I understood the underlying agenda. I had an argument the previous CO who was good friends with the then Presiding Overseer and a couple of other elders. It was an argument that I won because I called the branch and he was wrong. Long story short, he took revenge on me and got it. Shit happens, I moved on.
Elders suck!

" Do I just ignore everything and live a happy blinded life? "
This is the route I chose and I dont reccomend it. But I do understand why myself and others do it. From experience, it isnt healthy and it eventually will catch up to you. I have started to tell my wife things here and there i.e. Jeremiah books sucks which she agrees with. Also we agree in the fact that "wordly" people are nice and accetable associates. However she is still after me to study with the kids! So brainwashing runs deep. I eventually will just let it all out and it may happen sooner than later. Good luck with whatever you choose to do.

My, my, times have changed...
by DATA-DOG inquestions from readers?
why does not the watchtower society publish simplified material for parents to use in teaching their children bible truths?.
-a question based upon frequent inquiries by readers.. jehovah god lays upon the parents themselves the responsibility of teaching their children.

Funny how they wash their hands of training children but then turn around and use the Family Study Night as a litmus strip for if you and your spouse deserve everlasting life or not. Yet they are the GREAT and MIGHTY F&DS, gods chosen ones to lead his people in the "time of the end" lol... really?

Who's the biggest WT villian? Russell/Rutherford/Knorr/Franz?
by Las Malvinas son Argentinas inmine is rutherford.
the bible student movement of russell was badly splintered after the usurpation and was destined to fade away like the other russellite movements.
then judge joe decides to rebrand with 'jehovah's witnesses' and concieves of many different schemes designed to put his people into danger and gaining publicity for a sect that no one really thought about any more.

Franz. Most responsible for the doctrines, in particular the ramping up of the disfellowshipping/Disassociating doctrines. These keep so many, myself included, in bondage living a lie for family sake.

Maybe the Watchtower only used "fractions" of their NGO status, and not the four main components.

Your relative is either the Assembly Overseer, his assistant, DO/CO or you are a pioneer succubus that likes to eat s*it out of the asses of the aforementioned people.
