  Prayers that God answers. Any examples?

  when i believed in god i tried not to pray for anything selfish.. after a while i began to think that a lot of things i was asking my imaginary friend in the sky for were selfish for some reason.. i do not ever remember a single thing i prayed for ever being answered.

  if there was the appearance of an answer it was because i did mental gymnastics to make it fit the delusion that god had actually answered me.

  there was never an obvious message/answer from god.

  besides it being pseudoscience, what interests me about this is that even though it's something to do with the "qi" energy flowing in our bodies, that wasn't a problem for some members of my family or a special pioneer i knew.. new study exposes acupuncture as pseudoscience.

  i had acupuncture twice. once on my lower back and some time later on my shoulder. both times by the same person on the nhs. it seemed to work on my lower back but not on the shoulder although i could feel it more on the shoulder. said he had trouble getting the needles in the back.

  in the watchtower january 15th 1966 page 39 it says,

  'visible sign follows after and results from the invisible "sign of the Son of man," since it is composed of the many events and conditions that the Bible foretold would follow and result from the establishment of Christ's Kingdom rule.' (underllining is mine)

  the "sign of the Son of man" that is quoted is from verse 30 i believe something that i think is now in the future so i don't know what they discerned.

  as an anti theist you seem to want to decline to give me a definition of the word god. i will look for one myself.

  i have finished making my origami christmas tree and now wish to watch a film. it was good to talk with you Cofty. I will ponder whether i should or not.

  Cofty i think if you want to talk to me about football, or other things that;s ok. as you quoted i'm not 'sure' i think you know what that means.

  so when a person uses the word god you don't know what they mean you have no definition for it although you are an anti theist

  it's not a about shunning. why would i bother. you believed and took the position as a teacher in the congregation i think. i wouldn't qualify. so how could i help one who was so clever.

  Cofty you were a Christian you were one who felt he could teach now i think you are against Christ (anti theism) as a Christian i'm not sure i should talk with you
