I have never been interested in cruises. The idea of being isolated on the ocean with thousands of tourists on a ship has never appealed to me.

Candace Conti: Further Extension
by DNCall inthe parties stipulated to another extension of 30 days.

<<<<Really? Like, they've got higher priorities than working on a case in which (A) millions of dollars are to be paid out, and (B) if they lose their appeal, dozens if not hundreds of similar cases will be brought against them?
It seems like good old fashioned foot-dragging to me.>>>>
This might be shocking to you, but the WTBTS is unlikely to be their only client. The WTBTS has nothing to add to the appeal, as it will be written entirely by lawyers and will be limited to legal issues only. I think the delays are the lawyers, who are probably too busy to get it done on time. Appeals are expensive and involve a large amount of work.
Some here commented that the extension allows the WTBTS to keep the money longer, and therefore, they earn more interest because of the delay. That only makes sense if they're earning more than 10% return on their money, because interest is presently accruing on the judgment at the rate of 10%/year. Given the trend in interest rates over the last few years, Conti will get a heck of a return on her judgment if she prevails on the appeal.

The extensions are for the lawyers, not the Watchtower. It's likely that they were too busy on other matters to complete this on time. It is "professional courtesy" common in the legal field to grant such an extension.

by bigmac inwho has been out of the troof the longest?.
i resigned in the early 70's---but dithered as a guest at meetings for a few years--to keep marital peace.
but no field service at all--honest lol.. all connection to the cult ended in jan 1981---i had an affaire with a married sister--she got d/f--but--i'm told----it was announced=--i couldnt be d/f as i was no longer a jw---but was declared to be an apostate !!.

I left the cult I was born-in to in 1980, while still a young teenager. Certain family members remain in this cult, and of course, that creates problems for those around them, including yours truly. So the Watchtower remains an issue in my life, despite my escape from the Watchtower, 33 years ago.

King Solomon,
Cross-dressing as "nibbled" buys you no more crediblity than your Dave Perez gig, despite your desperate effort to assert that you have boobs. I believe you have "boobs," also known as "moobs," but you also have something else that heterosexual men would find undesirable.

It's hilarious to me that you can't stop lying. As Sab posted above, there are folks who are pathological liars. You are clearly a pathological liar. When one of your lies is exposed, you simply resort to lying again, as you did here. There is no evidence that I "hate" you, EP, and in fact, I don't. But like anyone else that posts on this forum, your words are not immune from skepticism, and you have habitually lied while calling others on this forum a liar. I choose to call out liars, especially when they are hypocrites like you that actually accuse others of lying. Your refusal to admit incontrovertible facts demonstrates rather clearly that your posts are unworthy of any serious consideration.
Your hypocrisy in characterizing others here as "liars" is nauseating.
As for that game of golf, have fun! I'm sure that there are plenty of gun-packing fatsos on the golf course that you have a lot in common with.

<<<<This thread is about something entirely different.>>>>
Oh no it's not. The song remains the same for you; dishonesty, pompousness, and inability to admit when you're wrong, even when faced with incontrovertible evidence of your dishonesty.
I note how you didn't respond to any of the substantive points I made in my last post, because you are unable to fabricate another lie good enough to cover the others.
You calling Aguest a liar is the pot calling the kettle black.

<<<< You're so adorable when you try to hard. Your wrong, of course, but adorable nonetheless.>>>
I'm wrong? Hmm . . . another lie. OK, I guess we have to repost your previous lies to expose the current one:
I made the following post in another thread (http://jehovahs-witness.net/members/politics/244844/2/NRA-Targets-Obama-Daughters3b-Limbaugh-Mocks-Murdered-Children (p.2 of the thread):
<<<< In my mind, I have the same rights to have my children protected regardless of the risk you seem to think is small enough not to need the added protection of a armed officer, or more.>>>>
I have the same right to have my children in a school that does not have armed guards, and I also do not want to pay higher taxes to make you feel safe.>>>>
You then set the groundwork for your dishonesty as follows:
<<<<Will you voluntarily give up all police, paramedic, emergency aid, fire protection and any other form of service from the state designed to help you in exchange for not paying taxes on those items?>>>>> http://jehovahs-witness.net/members/politics/244844/2/NRA-Targets-Obama-Daughters3b-Limbaugh-Mocks-Murdered-Children (p.2 of the thread).
Your dishonesty began with the statement above, which is an irrelevant, rhetorical question that falsely implies that I stated that I did not want to pay taxes for police, paramedics, fire protection, and emergency aid. I never at any time made or implied the statement you dishonestly attributed to me. When I confronted you on this issue, you added another lie to the fiction that is your posts:
<<<<It was in no way false. You said you didn't want to pay taxes for other person's security. That involves more than just armed guards in schools.>>>> http://jehovahs-witness.net/members/politics/244844/4/NRA-Targets-Obama-Daughters3b-Limbaugh-Mocks-Murdered-Children (p.4 of the thread)
Of course, you knew quite well that I had never stated or implied that I "didn't want to pay taxes for other [sic] person's security," but lies are ok with you. Although you exited the kingdom hall, theocratic warfare and dishonesty remain a part of your character, and your pompousness does not obscure that reality.
