Actually, I find them to be pretty friendly. My issue is not with them, it's with the scum that manage these corporations for their own self interest at the expense of making millions of lives miserable.

Why shouldn't it? The guy is reputed to have killed his own brother, and many murderers commit heinous acts prior to killing their victims. If we're going to analyze the likelihood that Cain had incest, why not also consider whether he sodomized Abel as well before doing him in? On a similar note, it is indeed possible that Eve engaged in bestiality, given her relationship with a snake in an apple tree and the influence said snake exerted over her conduct. Could it be that the biblical authors were too prude to discuss Eve's snake sex adventures? -

How did you get over your silly fear of demons?
by embeth2525 ineven now, i still battle with a silly fear of if something might have demons or not...i know it is silly, really, i do, but i haven't been able to get over it completely yet.
does anyone have any suggetions for me?

I think all of these phenomena have non-demonic/spiritual explanations, but in many cases, the person experiencing it overlooks such possibilities due to the effect of their religious background. I've never seen any demons, although I have bought plenty of used items. I have seen ghosts, but those are merely folks who need to get out in the sun more to get a tan.

Avi, I forgot all about those pyramid schemes that were all the rage in our congregation. Everyone was getting very rich, then a few got the shaft. I guess it's ok to do that sort of thing, as long as you're an elder.

Silent Lambs campaign...should we distribute at the KH??
by Eyebrow2 inafter seeing blondie's post about the new silent lambs campaign to distribute info on molestation, i got to thinking about something: what better place to hand these out than the kh?
more specifically....put them on the windows of the cars in the parking lot while they are at the sunday meeting.
maybe most would just throw them away...but if just one person sees it, and starts to question the policy, or ends up reporting abuse to the police because of it, it would be worth it.
