If you have spent your life being a less than average nobody but get to don a suit three times weekly while masquerading as an important 'minister' on official, theocratic duty

If you have an overwhelming propensity toward religious bigotry based on a false assumption of moral superiority

If you have an unhealthy preoccupation with the relentless passing of time, while all the while feeling that it is your worst enemy

Gave my first hour talk sunday before last

i started going door to door at age 5 and was giving no.

2 talks by age 7. during the 8 years i was an active adult jw i was never a ms or elder (although i was a regular pioneer once).

so, i never qualified to give an hour talk.

Irrespective of our own beliefs, it is nice to see that some people, upon leaving the WT cult, go on to do other more constructive things which place them in a unique position to educate others on the topic of the Jehovah's Witnesses whether it is from a religious or scientific perspective.

Much more productive than just becoming bitter and knotted up with anger.

Bravo.

Absolutely agree with what you are all saying.

Slowly, bit by bit, they are becoming the very thing that they have been ranting against for over one hundred years.

I always said it would happen and it has because the Watchtower religion itself is a reactionary movement and as such will lose momentum as the gap between itself and it's nemisis (mainstream Christianity) narrows.

Some things are just so predictable 😄

End times madness?

my wife's parents who are pretty obsessed with the watchtower religion are going on holiday more than they are at home these days and spending money like it is something evil to be got rid of.

i have not been to a meeting in a long time but after reading the thread on hysteria by campaign of hate and the whole tv broadcasting thing i got to wondering if they really are ramping up the 'sense of urgency'.

many on here are better informed than me so i'd be interested to hear whether this is a common thing..
