  Lost My Job Part 3

  well, there's another update... .

  if you missed my previous 2 posts, here's some to catch up...part one and part two.

  i emailed the township trustee and i told her of my situation and that he found out from my dad that i lost my job at wal-mart and i have been trying to buy time to find another job with no avail.

  Have you contacted the Salvation Army yet? If not:

  Ask a neighbor to make the voice call for you if you don't have any other way to contact them. Ask the neighbor to tell them that you are deaf and have no way to contact them yourself. Ask if they can send someone out to your house to speak with you in person. Have your neighbor briefly tell them that you are in need of food and are being evicted from your home because you lost your job and are very desparate to speak with someone in person. You may also want to have the neighbor give them your email address.

  Or maybe your sister could make the call for you.

  Getting over the "Imperfect Org" defe...

  hey guys,.

  i was wondering if you have a response when you present stuff about pedo, un, rutherford, etc, and a jw says, "well they are imperfect people.. the last respons i got was, only jesus was ever the perfect channel of god - which of course i agree.. but it's like if you ever bring up anything about anything, the stock response is, "we'll it's an imperfect organization.... your response???.

  Yeah, I'll bet that you have ONLY studied ONE book in your search - "Mankind's Search for GOD" - and based on that ONE book you have decleared yourself an athority on the world religions. Am I right or wrong??

  The key word here is "organization" - I have news for you! God does not have an organization! The Watchtower Society is only as man-made publishing company!

  surferdude,

  He HAS tried to find work - but he has other problems he needs to solve BEFORE he can get that elusive job. Please read his other two parts that he has linked in this thread for you. He is DEAF. He does not have a TDDY at home to make phone calls. He must GO to the Library to use the equipment there, BUT his car is broken - so he can't even get to the Library to make calls. He must WALK where ever he goes and is is very cold outside. He is on the computer because he can't use a phone! BUT he CAN email people.

  Another thought - both the Baptist churches and the Assemblies of God churches have a "fund" set up for emergency assistance that will help pay rent for the current month, utility bills etc. Some even have a small "food shelf" within the local church itself. Look them up in the local phone book for addresses and have a friend call a few for you.

  Have you tried contacting the Salvation Army in your area. They may be able to get you some food and pay for your rent to bring it up to current date. That way you would have at least a month more before your landlord could evict you. Email a friend or someone who could call the Salvation Army to explain how desparte your rent situation is. And see if they will also get your car running for you. Sometimes churches will do volenteer work like small car repairs free for those who are really in need.

  i am a witness that is no longer going to meetings.. but i tell you what, i'm scared to death.. i'm really "limping on two decisions.".

  what would you guys say is the one "scriptural" reason why you left the truth.. thanks.. gene.

  hi, i'm a little bit nervous posting something in here.....this is the firts time.....i was just wondering what "good" or "bad" things you have to say about jw.

  i have been a jw all my life and my husband too.

  right now i'm in the process of getting out... or fading away....i'm not attending the meetings anymore.

  following triple by-pass surgery, which she had three days ago.

  her liver went into failure and other she suffered other complications.

  Shari,
  Your post just brought tears to my eyes! I remember losing my Grandma (age 94) in 1986. It still seems like yesterday. So Sorry for your loss.

  I WAN'T TO COME BACK TO THE TRUTH.....!

  hello everyone.my name is richard and i would like to come back to the truth.i never did get baptized so im not disfellowshiped.my family are still all in the truth,and there lives are so much better than mine.satan has taked over my life completly.and ive had enough.i want to turn my life around and ask jehovah to come back into my heart.i have a very serious drug and alcohol problem.and do not want to live my life like this anymore.i know my life will get better if i let jehovah back in.im just scarred right now.i sill have a little deamon that keeps telling me not to do this.but i really want to.i sure could use some words of encouragement if anyone would like to help i sure would apriciate it.and does anyone know if i can get publcations online...?

  Rich,

  This NOT a Jehovah's Witness site! This is an "apostate" site. The one's posting here have either LEFT the Watchtower or are in the process of leaving. There are very few "active" JW's posting at this site. Hope that clears things up for you.
