  Fun with Google Trends

  in case you don't know, google trends is a fantastic tool - it lets you look at search terms over time and view trends.

  it can, for instance, tell you if interest in something is growing or diminishing based on how many people are searching for it.. of course it can't tell if the searches are for negative or positive information .... here's some results for jw related terms:.

  watching Kim and Mikey is a bit like watching Kath and Kim (ozzie comedy) I really think his ranting and screaming is a real turnoff. I just skip on till the scene changes and the ranting stops.

  i was appointed jan 1 1980 and back then it was a big deal to“qualify”.

  i was the youngest elder appointed in the district!

  i actually studied everything from the societies publications and listened to anything i was told to do.

  having a father elder and grandfather elder and pioneer the month the CO visits and yr in the club. no need to pioneer after appointment.

  Why remove John 8:1-11 in the NWT if these verses speak highly of Jesus

  i understand these verses were removed in the nwt as well as some other bibles because they were added later & considered uninspired.

  jesus protected an adultress so why remove it?

  it fits in nicely with his teachings, does it not?

  Jerome on John 8:1-11 (386 A.D.)

  Jerome makes a very good rationale why verses 1 to 11 should be included.. He argues against Pelaguis and his teaching on the need for penance and paying for release of sin and in the end the Roman catholic church won and of course they would not want to have the free gift of forgiveness of sin, so out with John 8 1-8.and the manuscripts that contained it. Jerome had a huge collection of scrolls and religious writing. There is a very interesting read here. enjoy

  JW stopped me in the street.....

  he pulled up in his car beside me and asked for directions, then he recognized me, we used to be in the same congo.. the usual pleasantries, i gave him directions, and then "when are you going to come back then" he asks.. "never" i say, "well, it has all changed" he says, " it's not like it used to be" i detect a tone of regret.. "but you know there is nowhere else to go" he boldly proclaims.. "yes there is !

  " say i, "there is somewhere where you can find truth, and truth is supported by facts and evidence ".

  he had to drive off then as he was blocking a narrow street, i did not get time to say " go to jw facts.com", i will tell him next time..
