TonusOh- Very True. The internet as caused Watchtower such a headache that they can not escape the outcomes. At one's own fingertips you can find so much true dirt on Watchtower. They can't mop it up fast enough. It's not like the early days when they could hide things. Now it's all over. Good laughes.

Law of Diminishing Returns
by Rattigan350 inthe law of diminishing returns states: the law of diminishing returns is an economic principle stating that as investment in a particular area increases, the rate of profit from that investment, after a certain point, cannot continue to increase if other variables remain at a constant.
as investment continues past that point, the return diminishes progressively.. from 1900 through the 1980s, the more witnesses that got baptized and pioneered, the more bible studies that could be had and the more additional witnesses that could join and then congregations would get bigger and they would divide and form in other areas.
but in the 1990s the law of diminishing returns kicked in, particularly in the bigger cities.

The Jw message is such a joke that any thinking person would laugh them off their door. Their stuff does not work in the real world.

I pioneered brothers parked their BMW and got aride in my 20 year old car?? No support.
by Witness 007 inso i pioneered for 10 years in the 1990's it was 90 hours a month with alot of country driving.
i was shocked when brothers and sisters with full time jobs would park their brand new cars and go witnessing in my 20 year old orange datsun.
i was barely living on $250 a week as a yeah...window cleaner.

Longhairgal- I have never seen such a sense of entitlement until dealing with Jw's. And yes we do say no. We have a business partner that deals with any "Brothers " that come to the shop. If they don't like the quote they are free to go elsewhere or a brother who is a shade tree mechanic. It's fine with us we are busy.

What got me was these pioneers would bring their junky azz rides to our family ran shop and expect some sort of " Theocratic Dicount" because they Pioneer and you are a brother. I don't mind giving a few breaks here and there but I have a business to ran. Things cost! They don't seem to understand that. Then they look down along their noses because I'm not pioneering. I'm " materialistic " for charging them so much for repairs to keep their cars running. I don't like it when "Brothers " come to the shop. Also looking for a handout. Some of them but most of them. I hate it.

Miniimizing 'Punishment' - marrying a non-JW
by doasthouwilt ini’d like to marry my best friend of 30+ years, turned ‘secret’ girlfriend of 1 ½ years who is a jehovah’s witness, born into it, baptized and an active ‘pioneer’.
our marriage would happen prior to letting any of her jw friends and cohorts know that we are together.
once married she may simply come forward and ‘admit’ or we may wait until it’s found out – one way or the other, the reason for this marriage is not customary – i am hoping that by doing so she can avoid being ‘marked’ or possibly ‘disfellowshipped’ once our relationship is no longer a secret and due to our already being married at that point, there can be no notion from society elders about her ending the relationship.

They don't look to non Jw's marrying Jw's too kindly.

In most cases a disfellowshipping will ensue once found out by the the nose of the elder body. Even before marriage, she can get caught with you in her house and be accused of fornication which is a disfellowshipping outcome. It it would be by a nosey fellow Jw who sees you too together.

Every World event is according to a Jw is the "Last Days". But when it passes it's ooh , it's not time yet. My Jw brother got into it with me that the world is getting bad and I really need to return to Geehovah. I asked him. Things are really Bad? The world has Tech advancement, in science, health care, human rights. You must be living under a rock.

I always get an invite from my super zealous sister getting her time in or sometimes in the mail by someone getting their time in. The question is will I go to it? The answer is no. I have more important interest then wasting my time on that.

Watchtower is always got it's hand in someone's pocket book for their own interest. I went from being a broke Jw to a business owner and faded from the Jw's. Now, the nerve of the elders coming around saying that I'm materialistic in then from the other side of their mouth they tell me that my riches are from Geehovah and I should give some of that to the organization. After all I dedicated my life to Geehovah (the Organization) and I owe them something. I have been faded for over ten years.
