They(elders) are always dropping in for something. And I tell them the is no talking about my family or spiritual things anymore. They need to leave.

3 years in the making
by Judgerussellford inthursday while i was at work, a new elder stopped by the house (almost 3 years after fading) to encourage us to go back to meetings.
said everyone misses us.
if you did, why not stop by and say hi every now and then?

I was looked down upon for having and education and working instead of being a Watchtower Salesman. Now, I don't have to worry about my retirement or very much unlike the uber Jw's who didn't plan but sold Watchtower crap have nothing to their name.

Hard-core Jw's who believe in Jw stuff and don't bother to plan for their future don't get any sympathy from me.

Possible Complaints From WT About JWs Going To Brunches And Going On Vacations
by HiddlesWife ini recently heard from a few pimos and saw on the exjw reddit that the above topic was discussed during a midweek meeting (clam).
the reddit member mentioned that there were complaints from the branch that too many dubs "were posting too many vacation and brunch pictures [on social media] when that time could have been spent in service!
if this is reality--and knowing this cultcorporation, i wouldn't be a bit surprised--they are really trying to stop the r&f/ members from enjoying normal human activities.

I learned along time ago that Watchtower only cares about one thing only, Money!
Doesn't care who it defraud or steals to get it! " be warm and well feed. Just keep sending your money!"

Was you or your family ever a local needs talk subject?
by Foolednomore inour family was always a topic on a local needs talk.
but it was funny when the brothers needed money they would come with their hands out.
this is when we lived in the states.

I was the subject of dressing too " Mafioso" with my pin strip suits and wing tipped shoes and Fedora Hat. And thin ties. The funny thing about that is my father and brothers dressed this way too. Seem like this hall in the States had a real problem with Italians. And believe me we spoke more Italian in that English hall than usual.

My mother has Dementia and I had two elders show up at the villa asking her for a donation. It is a good thing I have control of finances. They even had the balls to hit me up for donations which I laughed them off and asked them to leave. We are inactive for over 10 years, go figure that one. -

Sanderson’s “Young People” convention talk
by FFGhost inso did anyone else have the misfortune of listening to sanderson’s talk corresponding to the saturday morning convention program?.
full title is “young people - choose a path that leads to peace!”.
the basic idea is, hey you teenagers, you ought to be pioneers, wt construction workers, and/or bethelites.. i tried to put myself back in time an embarrassing number of decades…if i were in this talk’s target audience, how would i respond?.

As far given support to anyone as an individual in the Kingdumb Hall. There was one family that our family "helped" but not by the congregation. We just went out and did it.
