In our area the elders who know our family is inactive will come around and the first thing out of their mouths is to return to Geehovah. The second is, your life is doing good you need to give that to Geehovah. They and their dimwitted Organization discouraged education and preferred you to work hard labor while they benefited from your donations. Does not sit well with me. When your in need ask the Org for help, they'll laugh you out the door. They only benefit themselves.

Yet another mo' money video!
by nowwhat? in(in the what's new section) apparently jehovah is still failing to provide the necessary funds so have to beg and petition men for support even though we said we'd never do that!.
new angle, if you want to make friends with jehovah and jesus we need more of your unrighteous riches .
apparently jehovah is in the protection racket now.

The Jehovah's Witness religion has gone for good !!!
by snare&racket ini am not sure how you all feel as we all left at different times for different reasons.... but this new bible seems to have put some final nails into a coffin that was once my jw life.
the religion is so far and so different to the religion i grew up in that it has become something i feel no affiliation with anymore, no bond, no shared ideas or even sentimental views.
different teachings on when the end is coming.

The "Trooth" of what it was in the past and is now is very much a real joke. It has changed so much. Alot of BS! You can see it clearly now.

Bullied At School
by Lost in the fog injust curious about the rest of you.
i was bullied quite badly throughout my school years because of being a witness and not participating in religious holidays, sporting celebrations, assembly (worship), and the like.. it was mostly from other pupils but there were a couple of teachers who definitely treated me badly.
that was back when uk teachers still caned pupils or were allowed to hurl the heavy wooden blackboard duster across the room at them.... i still have ptsd flashbacks on some of those events even after 50 years!

I was bullied too. But once I took up kick boxing and firearms training, that all changed. I had One bully who challenged me and had to learn the hard way.

or is that just my imagination?.
mark jones writes: the vast majority of jehovah’s witnesses are nice people.

Jw's have been promised the moon and Watchtower so far has delivered nothing. You would be mad too. Why they stay in I don't understand?

question for those who either aux pioneered pioneered
by enoughisenough inhow many of you would have spent the hours "pioneering" if it weren't for the pats on the back and being looked up to as someone special in the congregation?
i will admit that back in late 1970's i attempted to aux pioneer during a campaign because it was promoted and seemed the right thing to do,but i didn't get the hours and it was stressful trying to...and i didn't feel like a cheerful giver.
i never attempted it again.

I had a way of not knocking on doors but placing alot of Watchtowers and Awakes in the public trash bins on the street corner where no one was looking.

I DId after high school because it seem the right thing to do. But for real it all was BS. No interest from people you would meet at the door. Was all a waste of time.

Honest Hearted Ones
by Sea Breeze inthere are certain wt terms that sound biblical but really just puff up the pride.
hundreds of times the wt has used the term honest-hearted in their literature.
it sounds biblical, if for no other reason because we hear it so often in jw circles.

"Honest Hearted Ones" is more like easier Gullible.

Most Elders I find where nothing more then unit managers. Their advice was very lame and for Watchtower benefit only never for the person seeking it.

Jehovah's Witnesses - Where is Your Money Going?
by Sea Breeze inafter discouraging and in many instances prohibiting jw's from getting an education, like in computer graphics, film-making and design, the wt is employing these kinds of professionals and throwing vast sums of money at their new film-making adventures doubtless from all the properties they confiscated, sold that the local members paid for.
kim and mikey talk about this primarily starting at 13:15https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqafxmsjirk&ab_channel=kimmikey .

I view it this way, they way Watchtower makes money and hides it from their members is questionable. How they are a business that poses as a church is beyond me, but I know now and I'm not fooled anymore. I have learned to live my life(a good life) without them.
