WT Ruining Members' Futures
by HiddlesWife inwhat i mean by the title of this thread is what has happened to a relative of mine, one who is really upset about this factor:.
this relative is a distant cousin on my mother's side of the family.
she studied as a child and got baptized at 14 1/2 years old.

I 'm glad I got out got education and businesses where the average Jw would frown on. But I Don't have the problems they have. In one of my businesses, I have an elder and two MS'S. The two MS'S work better then the elder. In fact this coming year, I'm promoting both MS'S to Underwriters and give sales and advertising to the elder since he likes to push his work onto the MS'S to go home early. -

How can anyone in their right mind sit and listen to the same old stuff over on over again ? It's just stupid! I got fed up of the waste of my life and time. I stopped going.

Struggling to find a purpose
by My Name is of No Consequence ini spent most of my life in the org.
we were taught that our purpose in life was to serve jehovah.
that never really made sense to me, but it was still a purpose to keep going.

Jwism has robbed us of our lives. Serving a man made organization/God for their benefit not ours. Countless time ,education and money lost because of this group. When you are out you have to build from scratch you life.

A Good Example of entitlement was when my mom ran a bakery in the States a pioneer sister came into the bakery an said she was here for her bread and since she is a pioneer and we " have money" we should give her bread. My mom was really disappointed by this. The Pioneer did not get any bread.

With "JW Land" being built their huge media center and theme park. It would not surprise me that they would go to totally online/ pay to view mode. Except the Watchtower has one small ( I mean) large problem, No one, and I mean no one in their right mind will sign up for JW TV ! Not the general public and they are loosing members. This is an attempt for a money grab which will fail, big time.

How About.....YOU Doing the Shunning?
by titch inhello, folks: about a month ago, stan livedeath started a post about.
how many of the readers here on the site have been or are now being shunned by friends/relatives?
well, let's turn that around a little bit: how many of the readers here have purposely shunned a witness, when they encountered them?

I don't follow their rules, I live my own life.
Who I shun is up to me.

During that time my Dad was with Shell Oil Co. We never got into the 75 crap like everyone else did, we were considered spiritually weak. I can recall a brother selling his business then regretting it and hitting my father up for money to open a new business. Which my father told him to pound sand.
