The Last Days of a Pioneer
by madisoncembre ini am starting a new topic since this blog entry is about something different.. i have posted before about my recent split with the jws.
no exit comes out of nowhere and there were seeds planted long before this.
i have never enjoyed field service.

I Pioneered for a month. But my parents and I came to the conclusion that this No way of supporting myself. So I took college courses. The elders were very angry by this action. I ask them all in a meeting. Are you going to support me? How about 100 dollars from each of you a month? They gave the usual run around. I left it that someone is got to support me. And I'm taking care of business. I started to work part time job and classes at night. My parents got counseled by the elders for it but didn't care much for what they had to say.

Yes, I too Pioneered. I had partner and we always worked together. We placed alot of magazines and books with a trash can and even had return visits with the local eateries. We really made our time.

Longhairgal has hit the nail on the head. Many Jw's took advice from Watchtower and never plan for the future. Here we are, No promise new system, zero. Nothing but Dispointment, worst for those with no plan. And Watchtower does not give a damn but wants more! -

Advice to reduce hours earn less and spend more time on the ministry
by ExBethelitenowPIMA inthe advice to reduce work and earn less to spend more time preaching has not aged well.. the cost of living crisis means many have more going out on necessities than they have coming in.. so many asked their employer to reduce their hours and refused promotion only to see their colleagues go up the ladder when they stayed lowly position with rubbish jobs thinking the end will be here soon.
next week midweek meeting is all about preparing for an economic crisis.. they say have a go bag and new advice for all jws to store food and water at home and grow a vegetable garden, i kid you not.
this is the new direction..

Longhairgal- From time to time in the past, my mom would give day old bread to those in need who where short of money. But this sister is so demanding. Alot of nerve. Wanted mom to make her a wedding cake for her daughter and just made a list of demands on that alone that mom turned it down. As for brother elder, he takes his work and reassign it to two MS brothers I have working for me in marketing. I'm at this point waiting for brother elder to mess up something so I can demote or fire and promote the two MS'S. The work better than the elder.
