That works for you to write A DA letter , I sometimes wish I would of wrote one. But would be real simple. It would say " Go Screw yourself " or " Piss off" but I gave them my answer with my feet.

When I was younger an forced to do field circus. There was a brother that I always worked with. On just about every corner of the block was a trash can that was covered. When no one was looked in went the offer for the month. We "placed" alot of magazines but not even talked to anyone.

I was a Pimo must of my early life by force. I hated it! I was not my true authentic self. How can anyone lve under those conditions without mental issues which I have to deal with today. But better without self medicating with drugs and drink.

Good point! I hope my family see what a waste of time and life being a Jw is. I sure found it out. I can't understand why people can't figure this out. Watchtower offers something that no way you can cash, not worth the paper it's printed on, yet it was sold. What a fraud.

I fear for my family that are still in. Watchtower is pretty Damn crazy. Not surprises me at this day and age. I know Watchtower is working to suck it's members dry on any cash they have.

Can you list the positive points of being a JW as against the negative points of being a JW in your experience ?
by smiddy3 ini was a twenty y/old when i converted to the jw religion and was a problem drinker and i was a chain smoker .when i was baptized at a circuit assembly a year later , my conversion and change in lifestyle was given as an example of the effectiveness of incidental witnessing to the audience.. so i can point to the 2 positives becoming a jw .. 1.i gave up smoking.
2.i gave up drinking for a while ,but because i still had association with my wife`s and my family who were not jw`s ,i learnt to control my social drinking when i started again.. and i have been a responsible drinker ever since ,even though i left the religion 29 years ago.. the negative points of being a jw in my 32 years of being one ?
are far too great to list here .. love to hear your thoughts..

Longhairgal- When I was in Depression was my most challenging demon to deal with. With the encouragement to do more for the Organization instead of getting professional help with Depression, there was alot of self medication with drink and prescription drugs to deal with depression. After, I faded and got professional help my self medicating stopped and so did the drinking. Watchtower has no clue on how to deal with depression and should not be giving advice.

I was told that since I'm a"Brother" (even though I have faded) and have a large real estate portfolio. I should rent my properties to my fellow brothers in the "Truth". What at a Theocratic Discount Rate!?! I don't think so. I have rented to Jw's and have some bad experiences with the whole thing. Some good, some bad. But the worst is when they want cheap rent don't pay, expect alot.
