Well hearing Tony Morris demonizing college - and articles like the one below, I think few JWs feel going to college is what Jehober wants.
also great quotes from WT from JWFacts about the current stance.
it was rather quick one.
in just few months and after attending all of their meetings and giving them a nice show, i'm back to the org!!!
(what a relief-sarcastic laugh) .

LaurenM12 hours agoWhy?? For family?...Also, it makes me sad that they're promoting college now. I turned down a full scholarship because of them.
Lauren who is saying that? College is more of a No No now than ever.
If you are a MS or Elder - it is unlikely you could keep your position if you kid went to college.
Many assembly parts talk against college.
JW Broadcasting parts have talked directly against college.
WT articles speak against college.
So I am not sure why you would think they are promoting college?

It is so hard to make any headway to anyone drinking the KoolAid.
The only thing I always think of - is pivot to Jesus. (Would jesus do this?)

starting this thread because of katewild's post.
(from where came god?).
the unanswerable questions of life are usually attributed to: "we are imperfect, so cannot understand.
If anyone thinks we only use 1% or 10% of our brain - please tell me what part could I remove from your head?
WHY DO STUPID THINGS LIKE THIS PERSIST?
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/do-people-only-use-10-percent-of-their-brains/
Though an alluring idea, the "10 percent myth" is so wrong it is almost laughable, says neurologist Barry Gordon at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore. Although there's no definitive culprit to pin the blame on for starting this legend, the notion has been linked to the American psychologist and author William James, who argued in The Energies of Men that "We are making use of only a small part of our possible mental and physical resources." It's also been associated with Albert Einstein, who supposedly used it to explain his cosmic towering intellect.
The myth's durability, Gordon says, stems from people's conceptions about their own brains: they see their own shortcomings as evidence of the existence of untapped gray matter. This is a false assumption. What is correct, however, is that at certain moments in anyone's life, such as when we are simply at rest and thinking, we may be using only 10 percent of our brains.
"It turns out though, that we use virtually every part of the brain, and that [most of] the brain is active almost all the time," Gordon adds. "Let's put it this way: the brain represents three percent of the body's weight and uses 20 percent of the body's energy."
if god is the creator, who created god or how did he evolve?.
So - how can you believe in something that
A. Humans can not grasp.
B. Can not be proven
C. Shows NO evidence existing (other than a convenient answer to questions you can't answer or understand)
D. That is not part of our Universe (convenient for someone not wanting to show evidence)
How does belief in Leprechauns differ from the above?
P.S. The bible states that god has a dwelling (heaven) and it's a specific place.
Who created the place he lives in? Did it also always exist?
