Fessler, according to the suit, meets the criteria for post-traumatic stress disorder and faces a life-long risk of mental health issues due to the trauma.
She is seeking punitive damages. The suit denotes a $1.9 million demand against the church's $100,000 offer to settle the suit.
The parties did not settle, though, leading to the trial, which is expected to run five or six days.

Over 25 years without a "north king" now.

something jehovah's witnesses do not talk about so much these days is the "north and south kings" of the book of daniel, and the reason is obvious.

this is one of many failed prophecies of the governing body.. they have not been able to present any new north king since the soviet collapse in december 1991, over 25 years ago now!

and this at a time when they are "so close to the end.

What did you regrettably not do because you were a Jehovah's Witness ?

jehovah's witnesses cannot do a lot of things.

i remember pioneers having to quit their jobs because they could not work in a convenience store and sell cigarettes.

i know of a young man who was offered a scholarship to any college or university if he wanted to go to because of his football abilities.

Can you imagine - that suddenly you just appear on a paradise - talk to god - get all you need - are told of an amazing future --- and then - a talking snake (good choice satan cuz snakes looks so cute, I would have picked a bunny but thats me) and you throw out your future - abandon your god who just created you no doubt in your mind - for a nice shiny apple.

Oh by the way - Thanks dog for creating the concept and design of the FIRST WEAPON (flaming sword guarding the garden:) cuz that's just what a fledgling species needed. And I guess you gave them a heads up so they knew what a sword was and to be careful about it? By the way had they seen fire yet?
