  What do scriptural contradictions convey?

  any book that claims to be god’s word should have the minimum qualification of clarity.

  if any of its verses are open to many interpretations, it cannot be god’s word.

  god can easily be crystal clear as traffic police who puts traffic signals (red means stop, green means start …etc.

  The OBVIOUS follow up questions for any JW after that paragraph is:

  "Ok, so why should I listen to you about bible doctrine?"

  "If you make mistakes, should you enforce strict rules that you can't be sure are right?"

  "Why do you make laws about matters of sex, marriage, health, clothing... that should be up to the individual?"

  "Do you have the right to kick people out of the organization because they do not follow your instructions, though you have made many many changes (been wrong) of the decades, and now say that god doesn't talk to you?"

  scripture writers knew that satan had to be created as part of a game.

  just like hero needs a villain, police needs crooks, politicians need masses, day needs night … god needs satan, hence they created a satan with human thinking—for example:.

  1) satan thinks shape of earth is flat (because he believes that he can see the whole world if he climbs a “high mountain.” (luke 4:5).

  "you're parents are going to die", my bible teacher said that to my sister and i. a 12-year-old and 14-year-old, simply going to a theocratic school meeting, learning to be submissive and learn how to preach the 'watchtower way'.

  this incident was after meeting ended.

  we made our way to our frail bible teacher.

  For Christians: What do you think about an Armagedon and the Afterlife

  i don't mean for anyone to get into argument over this, i just want to hear what people believe.i hope that no one will mock or argue with someone else about their beliefs, i know that i won't in this topic.. i still believe in a christian god, not what jws believe, but believe that there has to be something after this life.

  i am not sure about how armageddon would go, would it be like how evangelicals believe with a rapture or timing or anything, though i still believe in a form of armageddon.

  i do think that all good people will go to heaven but i don't believe in a hell.

  If you were god - why would you make the earth be some kind of testing ground - to what amounts a blink of an eye compared to everlasting life in heaven? What purpose would that server?

  And if you were god, why could you not be articulate enough to let all your little peeps know exactly without confusing what the deal is?

  And is letting billions of people grow old suffer and die, many before they reach 1 year of age, the best you could come up with?

  And really is at some arbitrary point - just killing everyone who doesn't understand the Rules you NEVER explained - the best the all mighty one can do?

  there was a part about pine trees in california mountains at regional convention.

  the brother/organization lied about how old they are.

  he said oldest tree is 4200 years old when it is actually 5000 years old.

  Well - having given many DC talks - I found that the outlines often distort facts.
  
  And when that doesnt happen, many brothers make things up, either because they are stupid, or the change the narrative to fit their point.
