  i read the above posted article and it made me wonder how many narcicistic people join the borg because it fits well with their personality.

  i also wonder if being indoctrinated makes you become narcicistic.

  Yes.

  If you are THE CHOSEN PEOPLE of god, you can become narcissistic.

  If you just made it out of High School, but are constantly told you have the BEST education in the world, you can become narcissistic. (partly a defense mechanism for knowing you are a loser)

  If you are in the know and the rest of the world isn't. You can become narcissistic.

  This effects most to some degree.

  Kingdom Hall shot up in Washington state

  a kingdom hall near a small community called yelm was shot up.

  yelm is where two kingdom halls where set on fire about a month ago.

  i think someone, exjw, in that area is really pissed off..

  R.I.P Margot Kidder { Lois Lane} 1948-2018

  i was saddened to hear this ,she was only 69 yrs old and i thought she played a great lois lane in the superman movie.. in her life she obviously had issues to deal with and not the best of outcomes sometimes .. r.i.p.

  I Went To My Brother’s Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall

  i have to say that the talk was very good.

  instead of just repeating a jw manual , the speaker actually spoke about my brother!

  there were a few scriptures with the jw hope but 80 % of the talk was actually about the life of my brother.

  native american background, my great grandmother was a witch doctor a damn good one too, my non witness relatives dabble in it.

  some might call this faith cold, strict, dogmatic but they're just trying to follow rules and give back to god.

  No they haven't.

  I'l accept the doctrines if I can prove the Governing Body is being led by God.

  Which ones? They change the most important understandings ever other year.

  Prophecies: I'm looking into this.

  There is 0 evidence the bible actually predicted anything - no proof at all. In fact, all the evidence shows that every prophecy was written WELL after.

  By the way - do you believe the bible when it said at a guy's Jackass started talking to him, and instead of running away scared shitless, he has an argument with it as if that sort of thing is normal? Reall??

  at today's wt study about child baptism, someone commented and she pointed to the picture of the little girl playing with her teddy bear.

  she said, 'she may be looking at her bear and thinking about getting to play with bears in the new system.

  her parents notice this, and they decide since it's real to her she may be ready for baptism.

  I find it funny how SOOO many JWs are all into Playing with the Animals in the "nude system" but hardly any visit zoos or know anything about animals?
