  Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Baker Who Refused to Bake Cake for Gay Couple

  seems like such an obviously correct decision to overturn the previous overreach - it should never have been necessary to go to the supreme court but happened because the rights of the religious were being ignored.. as the fundamental level, no one should be able to compel you to work for them or to provide services that go against your beliefs, and certainly not have the government be able to force you to comply.. if this was allowed there would be so many unreconcilable situations that would clog up courts over nonsense.. i also have little patience for these activists that intentionally look to be offended.

  it really doesn't do their cause any good to go round looking to make trouble for people.

  Discrimination is discrimination.

  Anyone who can't see this and the slippery slope that it leads to is either being ingenuous or has never opened a history book.

  How the f@uk is selling something to someone have anything to do with what their FAKE god feels about them?

  This is just Text Book Discrimination Masquerading as Religious Freedom.

  Same people who scream that somehow THEIR marriage is threatened if the gay couple down the street is allowed to marry.

  America is slipping into a scary place.

  Freedom seems to mean - everyone should believe what I believe - to a large group of racist xenophobic people.

  I left the WT to be free of that thinking.

  can anyone put a comprehensive list of documents and or dates of how the wt has been effect taking the publishers money and i guess property - when it comes to the change in kingdom hall building and loans?i dont have the order and cant find the letters.. the special video meeting about how we need thousands of mcdonald's looking kingdom halls - and eliminating the rbc -then the elimination of loans - and the request for monthly monies.. i need to talk to someone about it soon..

  A ridiculous thing I found in the old young people’s book

  it was in some book for young people that i found going through the watchtower library when i was doing research for old publications, i cannot believe this lunacy, i feel so bad for the teenagers at the time who had to try to take this seriously, but they’re not a high control religion or cult though, anyways here is is : .

  if you sleep in a room alone and you find that you seem to feel special stress in this direction at night, you may be able to arrange matters to share a room with another member of your family.

  also, you may find it helpful to sleep on your side rather than on your back or face down.. 18 another thing that may be helpful is to see to it that your clothing does not unnecessarily cause friction with the sexual organs.

  sure, we all love the big budget, mainstream releases that are so successful they spawn never-ending (it sometimes seems) sequels.

  we could watch marvel and star-wars movies for the rest of our lives (and we might just ...).. but y'know what i love?

  i can’t speak for everyone, but in my experience my whole life as a witness, people, mainly woman , were speaken of very poorly for “commiting fornication”.

  and everyone was so repulsed by women who wore “revealing” clothes, always saying, “women wear things like that, or let their daughters go out like that, and then wonder why their raped.” which makes me want to throw up.

  if you even got in trouble for a groping session, you were the talk of gossip for weeks, maybe for years if some had it in for you.

  One of the biggest Sins of religion in general is the demonization of sex and the human body.
  Of course, that mostly deals with the demonization of woman and their sexuality.

  This has been one of the foremost CONTROL times religion has used to keep people in line for centuries.

  JWs are like Mormons and Islam with their attitude about sex and women.

  YES! TO BAD they don't actually put that anger toward issues that matter.
