talking about sex and masturbation was probably the worst one i heard and my daughter was only 5 at the time.. what inappropriate talks or comments have you heard over the years that children should not be exposed to really?.
I know! Of course, the way it is presented is the worst, filling kids with the vision of shame and guilt.
I used to think it was so stupid of other churches having separate classes for the kids while the parents go the sermons.
So many things I thought were great were so harmful.

it has been reported to the canadian branch that some witnesses doing cart work had police stop them from carting in public parks.
the direction sent to the southern ontario congregations is to cease carting until further notice.. this is no joke.. have a jw-free day..

I cant understand why someone would think they are not being uses a lot?
if someone does the same things over and over again and says sorry and then does it again and you point out that their apologies don't mean anything anymore, then they accuse you of not being forgiving enough, who is in the wrong?
(i mean as in constantly over a long period of time).

quite regularly at meetings jws mocked worldly people and apostates(anyone who had left the "truth") for saying the bible contradicts itself when it is in complete harmony from beginning to end apparently.

they used to laugh at the fact people on the doors would say the bible contradicts itself and when they asked the householder to show them where, they couldn't..

jwfacts - as we all know as former JWs - people can bend and twist whatever into whatever so-called proof they want.
Comes down to - no one wants to go out of existence - so people of all religions rationalize the most stupidest things to reinforce that there is a future for them no matter what.
this has been an interesting story in the news recently.. just thinking, if in a few years time they drill down and discover water on mars and also some form of life.

I am a designer and I use that principle all the time in design. Has nothing to do with god.
Its like how when it comes to visuals and say slogans or taglines - groups of 3 work best with the human mind.
i.e. Just Do It. I'm loving it. Imagination at work. Every Little Helps. Finger lickin' good. Taste the rainbow. Snap Crackle Pop.
BIG WARNING ALL - The human mind finds patterns even when they are not there. I.E. seeing Elvis in a piece of toast. THIS IS A GIANT PLUS as a result of evolution, and it is a GIANT NEGATIVE because that's why we have superstition and the persistence of religion.

FYI: Did you know that when it comes to Beauty, and this works in all cultures. The people we generally feel are the most beautiful are mathematically the MOST AVERAGE.
If you take a million faces - and digitize the size and location of all features, the AVERAGE of all those are the people we feel are the most beautiful. I thought that was very interesting.
