  Yes Half banana - its 100 billion.

  Like always the WT uses only stats they like - the 20 billion is a very very old estimate, that convenient for them, they never revised.

  Why? Where would you put them? How could a major portion of them reject the "truth" after being resurrected?
  And how long would it take to resurrect them then teach them.. bla..bla..bla..

  I used the 100 billion figure in a talk once, and a elder challenged me on it (even though I had referenced where it came from) but he of course did not want to believe that any info like that could change in the 50 since he read about it in a WT or Awake.

  Funny how this 1 thing can bring down the ENTIRE house of cards if you think about the logistics.

  Critical Thinking-is that phrase a stigma?

  when i first heard the term 'critical thinking' it was as a teenager during a watchtower study.

  the study went on to elaborate how we shouldn't be swayed by critical thinking.

  there was no explanation that the term didn't mean 'to criticize' thoughts and words, but rather that it means 'to objective think and to evaluate thoughts and words'.

  YES!!!!! Every brother who I have EVER heard talk about it on the stage or at an assembly define it as "being critical (as in unjustly picky) of the Org, GB, Elders...

  I think its kinda of funny that - you "qualify" to get the bible only after you are buying in to the JW philosophy. You know - because its an expensive book in braille.

  Once the individual has made sufficient progress, such as by attending meetings regularly, then he may request the revised New World Translation.)

  Didn't jesus mention something like "i will teach you but only after you prommis to believe what I say"

  Gayle35 minutes agoSo even 2017 yearbook to be out early October already? Will it include 2016 Service Year Report w/stats already? Or maybe not tallied up yet by then?

  Could it be that they stop publishing the global numbers?
