  jesus christ, the son of the most high god, jehovah has this to say: "if the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.

  if you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own.

  now because you are no part of the world, but i have chosen you out of the world, for this reason the world hates you.

  scare tactics generating fear of the end is the core message of jehovah's witnesses.predictions based on so-called bible prophecy is their mother's milk.

  "critical times hard to deal with" flavors every book, article,pamphlet and conversation spoken by dub on the doorstep.indeed, all we hear anywhere seems to be bad news.

  Praying for apostates

  i had heard that jehovah's witnesses cannot pray for disfellowshipped individuals or apostates.

  is this true?.

  It is.
  There was a sister in my hall who we were close with. She had 5 kids that we all loved.

  Her oldest girl still an older teen got DF (for f#ucking around of course).

  My wife told her that she was praying for her (the girl) and the mother got offended that you cant pray for her and that she never does (though she is for sure a loving great mom).

  My wife told her "you don't think god wants to hear that you as her mother wants her to return?"

  JWs are so fearful and bizarre. It was so sad.

  i have been rereading a lot about rutherford lately; about his personality and the kind of person he was.

  i have come to the conclusion that he was a lot like donald trump.. he was an accused womanizer.. he was a narcissist with a self inflated ego.

  he claimed to be persecuted by the media all the time.

  I have a theory on this kind of stupidity. Because Witnesses are closed off from associating with “worldly people”, they do not know how to conduct themselves or what is socially acceptable. They are painfully ignorant about many things, in addition to being fools and ingrates.

  VERY VERY TRUE!
  Now that does not go for everyone - but a majority sure fit into that.

  so miss america pageant is going to remove the swimsuit and evening gown parts of their pageant because they have decided it's demeaning to women.

  i guess it will just be women in overcoats telling us they want world peace .... bravo, we all applaud, right?

  maybe we shouldn't be so quick to do so .... what is it really saying?

  We men like to look at a pretty woman. It's built into our psyche. And stays with us until old age. Isn't it great!
