I think when the Service Year Report is released, it would be accessible from the Library >> Books and Brochures section of jw.org.
I just checked and the 2022 report is not there yet.
isn’t it about time they released the report for the service year?
or have they stopped publishing it?
did they released selected figures at the annual meeting as they usually do, such as the memorial attendance or record number of pioneers?

wow.
while not a pew survey, i found these to be surprising results.
" a recent yougov poll explores americans' attitudes toward 35 religious groups, organizations, and belief systems.
Worth a screenshot.
A couple of observations.
JWs are polarizing. The gray area of 'not sure' being only 11% shows JWs are well known enough so that most people have a strong opinion one way or another. 23% view JWs Very unfavorable (one of the worst, only beat out by Satanism, Scientology, and Athiesm).
Overall it's pretty damning, though not surprising to me.
i am thinking about how i read in the reports that the shooter had contacted another person expressing desire to go back .....and was told to contact an elder.
the man seemed to me to be reaching out for help and got put off...and since he had called this person, he was put off by someone he felt could make a difference.
i would hate to be in the shoes of the person the shooter called...for i would feel so guilty, thinking i could have said something else and none the tragedy would have happened.
It indeed sounds like the man was mental, and had been for some time. I'm more concerned about his wife, who may have been coerced or intimidated into participating, only to be shot in the back by the man.

For the US, I predict an increase in publishers and increase in pioneers, decrease in congregations and decrease in number baptized.
a lot of ink has been spilled on the topic of the cross.
the wt felt it had uncovered some deep conspiracy when they found a number of words were used to describe how jesus was understood to have been killed.
there was an extensive thread many years ago that in short strongly supports the conclusion that at least some nt writers envisioned a cross, while others had a tree in mind.
I've always maintained that the primary reason the anti-cross doctrine was adopted by Rutherford was to distance the Watchtower-aligned Bible Students from the breakaway 'evil slave' Bible Students. One of their characteristic beliefs was the cross, and use of the cross and crown lapel pin as an identifier.

I looked around their website a bit and didn't find anything. If it is there it isn't obvious. Nowadays they could throw some numbers into a video in a way that is unfortunately not searchable.

I haven't seen any updated reports yet today, but CBS is reporting there were 'three incendiary devices found' at the scene. At least one window was obviously broken out in one of the photos. Early news reports often have the details mixed up. One news video showed a street interview of a neighbor who said he heard gunshots at 7:30 am, which doesn't seem likely at a KH; maybe he was mistaken about the time.
I am upset by this story and will be very interested in knowing the backstory.

I cannot help but wonder if there is any connection to the recent KH raid in Teller County Colorado:
The two locations are 70-80 miles apart, so it could be an unfortunate coincidence.
