Wasn't he the one who funded the printing of a few of the early peripheral Bible Student books, like "What Pastor Russell Said', 'What Pastor Russell Wrote", "Gems from the Mine"?

Albert Delmont Jones
by vienne injones was a principal investor in the knickerbocker bank of new york city.
there was an earlier and defunct bank of the same name.
the bank issued its own currency, a common practice at the time.

;I don't think it is the same person as Peter Niznik. I don't have a better photo of Niznik stone, but the date of death is clearly 1980, and it appears to be a veteran marker for someone in WW2. This would be consistent with the find-a-grave entry for a person named Michael Niznik

It is a very large cemetery stretching almost a mile. There must be 10000 graves there.

It kind of looks like something has been chipped away from the back side. Any thoughts?

How will history treat Judge Rutherford?

how will history treat joseph rutherford?.
like ben gorden has said, it would depend on who’s looking back.

Rutherford’s books went 4 for a dollar, if I’m not mistaken. Which during the depression must have seemed a lot.
$1 in 1933 is about $24 now

Hailstone message AND everyone will be saved? Questions
by slimboyfat ini’ve not been paying close attention to watchtower developments, but talking to a jw yesterday it occurred to me the society (yes, still use that term - old school) have been sending out mixed messages in recent years.
from what i gather, a few years ago the gb announced that during the great tribulation jws would be required to preach a “hailstone message of judgement” which involved telling people it was too late for them to repent and they were definitely going to be destroyed.
there were hints that this could be very soon, “any day now” preaching could stop and the hailstone message come in, kind of thing.

Billions more unrighteous getting resurrected
I first read this as 'Billions more righteous getting unresurrected'. Made me wonder that the WT hasn't come up with the word 'unresurrected' yet. Maybe that will be the next new light!

I think he deliberately put JWs at risk, hoping to create a legal case he could appeal to the Supreme Court. He saw himself as a modern Apostle Paul, legally defending, etc. He would have been embarrassed to know that the JW wins came only after he died and a smarter lawyer took over for the JWs
