Sixteen years later and wow is life different

i have no idea if this is the right place to post this.

if you're just leaving the witnesses or questioning and toying with the idea of leaving..... life goes by fast.

and either you rip the band aid off and deal with it or let it fester and eat you alive.

In this area (midwest US) about 10 years ago they put up a special contribution box for a planned assembly hall. Later the project was scrapped. But the monies which were put into the special box were never (to my knowledge) accounted for. Presumably it just ended up in the WT coffers.

Thanks, I must have missed this way back ten years ago. I’ve read a few of PSL Johnson’s books. He was definitely ‘out there’ with all kinds of strange ideas. I remember him applying some scriptures in types and anti- types to him and Rutherford, with Rutherford always the bad guy of course.

John 1:1 has gotten exactly zero citations since 2018. Says a lot about the recent literature.

edited, I take that back. There was one reference in 2019.

this booklet was written by ray marsh and others while inmates of chillicothe prison.

as jehovah’s witnesses, they refused to serve in the military during world war ii and therefore were sentenced to several years in prison.. .

Reminds me of a book I read recently called 'The Secret Life of Pronouns', in which the author uses computer analysis of pronoun usage to make inferences about the authors.

Wow, quite a project. I would be interested if you have any observations. I just took a glance at Romans, and it appears that Romans 3:23 saw a huge increase of use starting in 1976 ('All have sinned and fall short... etc').

I thought too that the 'cylindrical thing' was a display cabinet. It does look a bit though, like something out of Startrek. Maybe it is a cyrogenic chamber!
