bible says flood occurred approximately 4000 years ago.

that is about *200 generations of breeding to get to the population on earth now.

keep in mind that the population increase is geometric.

Using this calculator i used the following criteria
initial population of 6, assuming Noah and wife are past child bearing
3% growth rate. World population growth has historically been 2%, i boosted it 50%
Span of 200 years. Check me on this.
Yields 2,200 by the time Nimrod appears Doesnt seem like enough for him to be king over multiple "cities".
For today's population, I'm not smart enough to read the number it spits out.
Of course nobody knows. The numbers can be spun many different ways.

New blood card system in March

there is going to be a hole new system of blood cards this march .

the congregation won’t hold any information as they did before from march it will be all put on the pub.

i think it’s to do with vaccines and they are worried now they got everyone vaxed and they want to distance themselves from medical responsibilities and say own personal decisions.

We had the Blood Card / DPA part last night. New card, same as the old card. It was specifically mentioned that our card, just recieved, did not change and is still 2016 issuance other (US) States had been revised.

I don’t know how to reconcile the Watchtower statement that GB helpers are from the other sheep, with the fact that the two new appointees, who are described in the announcement as anointed, (plus Paul Gillies, also rumoured to partake) are listed as helpers in the Watchtower article. It appears to be a contradiction
I had someone explain it to me as, your appointment to the governing body IS your ANNOINTING. I don't know if this idea comes from Crisis of Conscience. As i recall the person saying this to me may have referred to it.

Possbily. Cook at least has a chance of having been annointed prior to Franz death. He could have been around 27 years old. The other two- no fecking way.

another forum i am a part of reports that Fleegle was NOT annointed until recently. Within the last 10 years.

It’s started COBE asking all appointed men if they are fully vaccinated

there is a huge problem now in all congregations as the gb stubbornly will not do the u turn on staying fully vaccinated that many hoped they would do.. all congregations around the world the cobe has to ask all ministerial servants and elders if they are fully vaccinated (meaning no more than six months since last shot).

there is a massive problem now with many many jdubs not getting their latest boosters and not wanting to stay fully vaccinated .

but more serious than that is how the gb painted themselves into a corner with these vaccine mandates.. most governments did a u turn on the vax mandates but the gb can’t get out of this one so easily .

The vaccine requirements are for “theocratic schools” only. Things like the pioneer school, elders school (5 day and 1 day), etc.
if it doesn’t have “school” in the title, a vaccine is not required.
This is true, but CoBE were indeed told to inquire of all appointed men. Like all things, they probably didnt understand that this pertained to the limited scope of theocratic schools

question for those who had been elders on judicial committee

i was wondering if some who may have been in the judgement seat ( so to speak ) had a wake-up call while judging someone who was defending leaving jw.

( or maybe it was from reading a letter of disassociation.

one of the last i was on; 15 or 16 yo girl, having regular sex with her worldy boyfriend. I was determined not to disfellowship her. My reasoning was she was a minor and kids do dumb things and make dumb decisions. But it was inevitable- she didnt want to remain a JW. Her wish was granted.
the cases that I was involved with never involved apostasy or doctrinal issues. I dealt my share of adulterers, fornicaters, smokers and at least one gambler
I'm conflicted about these. While i'm no bleeding heart liberal, i've come to see these as human behaviours that are the result of some pain or trauma. Thinking about a specific case, how does disfellowshipping a young man, who's wife had died, for fornication help him? I think often there is something that they need help with that prayer and field service won't

I think Dr Manhattan is about the best representation of god that i have seen. The Watchers does a great job in helping portray the all-knowing, all-seeing possibility along with the idea that god ISNT watching everything you do.
