afterall when was the last time you found 10,000+ search results for catholics, jews, mormons or any supposed sect or cult?.

I am a married(14yrs), female(42yrs) and a "re-vert"(that's re-converted) to the Faith.(8yrs) Before the marriage I did not follow the "teachings of the Church" Now, after being struck by a "spiritual lightning bolt" 8 yrs ago, I totally embrace the teachings of mother Church. Not blindly, I truly see the truth in her teachings.My problem: Oral sex.
My husband, a non-practising protestant wants it and I no longer feel good about it as a total act of love. I do not object to its use in foreplay, I just want the act to end in intercourse.
When I try to explain why the Church teaches that this act is sinful (as well as using artificial birth contral, masterbation, etc), he scoffs and becomes very upset with me. He tells me that God wants us to have a happy marriage and if I do not please him, it makes an unhappy marriage and that is not what God wants.
I try to tell him that if I do this, it makes me unhappy and therefore an unhappy marriage! He just dosen't buy it and he wants me to be like all the "other Catholics" out there who use birthcontrol and engage in oral sex.
He says that I am being unloving and very selfish. It makes him very depressed to know that because I will not do this for him at lease once a month, then I do not love him. He is considering divorce over our differences. (there have been others we weathered)
He does not like the New person I have become. [emphasis added]
He wants me to change back into the girl he once knew. What I need here are some witnesses!! Can I get a witness? or more? Help me to convince my husband that I am not a fanitic wierdo. Can we talk about this issue? I know that it is an embarrasing subject, but I need some back-up.
Anyone relate to this? HELP!!

Work to make a difference?
by Introspection ini was wondering if anyone here does some kind of volunteer work, i'm trying to get some ideas.
every now and then i feel the call to do something, but it seems it's a lot easier to sit on my ass and talk about it.
i have done a couple things, but i guess i just don't know if it makes a difference or not.

Why not try what I did?
Go door to door, something we XJW's are very good at, but collect money for a cause that means something to you!You'll have to register with your chosen charity first and wear some I.D. Do it properly and Im sure you will find it really satisfying as well as being of genuine benefit to those in need.

The Taliban tries to stop "immoral" material entering their country.
In the Afghan Islamic Press, Taliban Foreign Minister Maulvi Wakil Ahmad Muttawakil said the Afghan government was not directly against the internet as a medium of communication but was against the easy availability of adult and improper content. He continued, "we want to establish a system in Afghanistan through which we can control all those things that are wrong, obscene, immoral and against Islam."This ban comes as a blow for international aid agencies and foreign Embassies who are expected to comply with the new ruling. Up until now they have been using phone lines and ISPs provided by neighbouring Pakistan to gain internet access.
The Afghanistan Government, as of yet, have not mentioned exactly how they are to police this blanket ban, as trying to determine who is using the phone line for the internet or a telephone call, could prove tricky.

Challenge...RE: WT bound volumes, books, CDROMs...
by TheApostleAK insince on many occasions, the watchtower and awake bound volumes have been altered from what was originally printed, and newer editions of hard covered books have also been altered compared to the originals, who's to say that the cds haven't also been tampered with?.
is there any proof of that?
there seems to be a belief on here that the wt has made wholesale changes to their bound volumes, books and cdrom's.

On the back of Manual that came with my 1999 WT-CD is the License Agreement.
Between conditions 4 and 5 there is a disclaimer in bold type. The final line of this disclaimer reads:
WATCH TOWER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE DATA IS IDENTICAL TO WATCH TOWER'S PUBLICATIONS.nuff said
