Hi, I would like to find a website with the statistic of the growth within the mormons church. Do they grow quicker than the Jehovah Witness? My guess is that they grow a little bit quicker but It would be fine to have some proofs of that. It would be also a good thing to show the them to a JW when he tell you that they are the ONLY ONE true religion...

Disfellowshipped? I got a question
by sableindian inif a person is disfellowshipped, can they talk to anyone in the congregation?
and if not, what scripture says they (the disfellowshipped person) can not.
and, has anyone ever heard that an elder or someone else suggest a disfellowshipped person wear a letter "d" (the scarlett letter) when they go to public functions like an assembly?

sableindian: if you are disfellowshipped, that mean that you are not a jw anymore so, nobody can control you. You can do anything and you can talk to a jw too except that the jw are not supposed to talk to you. It can be pretty funny when you approach them and say hello to them because they won't know how to react in this situation hehe.

Who likes winter?

Life is life and it's so boring
by Nicolas ini have a been a little jehovah witness from the age of five years old to the age of eighteen and i still can't find a way to appreciate the life.
now i'm nineteen years old and i don't know what to do with this life and i'm almost always at my computer, in my bedroom.
why the hell do i don't go outdoor to do some funny activities?

Thanks a lot fot your help. I have to specify that I'm not a JW anymore, I stopped going at the meeting at the age of fifteen and I was never baptized. I hope that things will be getting better with Christmas celebration, it will be my second real Christmas in my entire life and I hope I'll have a lot of fun.

Sometime, the death people are more alive, for a Jehovah Witness than someone who is still alive. By example, my father who was inactive, when he died in 1998 is more important for my sisters who are still in this cult than my mother who is alive and would be able to give them love and advices if they wanted to receive it. All this story because my mother dissasociated herself to stop the harassment from the elder, after the death of my father.

Now I'm nineteen years old and I don't know what to do with this life and I'm almost always at my computer, in my bedroom. Why the hell do I don't go outdoor to do some funny activities? I really don't know why maybe it's because my brain is still telling me to avoid those worldly peoples? I admit that I have been a lurker on this site since a long time but I don't post often. But now, I'm really wondering why do I have to suffer like this, I take some Paxil to help me with my social phobia and my anxiety but it's still very hard to cope with the daily routine. Suicide would be such an easy solution, after all there's no hell and no heaven... but I can't do that because I'm important for some peoples ;-(
