Thanks, Earnest. I've passed your notes onto Dr. Schulz for his consideration. He and my mom wrote this book, though the afterword is all his. Mom died and did not contribute to this essay.

Having a meeting in a rented hall does not indicate belief. I attended a lecture held in a Methodist Church. It wasn't a religious lecture. And I'm not a Methodist, but by your reasoning I must be one because I attended a lecture in their building.
I attended classes held in a Presbyterian church to receive a certification. By your reasoning, attending those classes in a Presbyterian church makes me a Presbyterian. This is nonsense.

You have reading comprehension problems. He plainly says he was never a Mason. He uses them as an illustration, plainly without knowing the details of Mason belief and practice. There are free courses in most cities, often offered by school districts of colleges for adults with reading comprehension problems. And there are online lectures on formal logic. You need both. Read this again. With your mind turned on.

Would You Stop Buying A Product Because of Political Differences?
by minimus inwould you stop buying nike products because you didn’t like their politics?
conversely, would you give business to a company because you liked their political stand on a matter?
would you stop watching an entertainer because you disagree with their political perspectives?

Refuting Russell and his Bible Students.
by Lost in the fog ini recently came across this reprinted book in a friend's library.
i hadn't seen it before, but it appears to be a refutation of the teachings of russell and also of the seventh day adventists.
some interesting logic is used by the author mainly around the bible chronology used by russell in his books.

John Amandus Oppy, the author of this book, was a Seventh-day Adventist with his own strange chronology.

Staying a Jehovah's Witness
by lriddle80 inwhy the shunning if someone leaves?

They believe they have the Truth. If you leave the truth, in their view, you will die at Armageddon. I give them credit for not wanting anyone to die. And like the medieval church, they believe that those who leave are a corrupting influence. They imperil the life-prospects of others.
If you do not believe their message, this is nonsense. But it is as they see it. And if you believe their message, this is serious business.

Well, I'm not finishing it for my mom, though I do a little bit for Bruce, mom's writing partner. He's finishing up the project. I'd look to sometime at the start of next year to see it in print.
