Was Jesus Born on December 25th?

Several Biblical approaches for an approximate date, assuming that there was a 'real' Jesus - and I believe there was. Consider the 'course' of John the Baptist's priesthood give us the month he served at the temple and had his vision. That would take us to an October date for Jesus' birth.
The shepherds in the field at night would take us to a similar date, and that removes a December birth.
Also, December 25 is the date for the rebirth of the sun, making it an unlikely date for the birth of God's son.

I am not now, nor have I ever been a Witness. But I watched my mom, Rachael de Vienne as you will recall, take two elders to task when they tried to stop her from using a book they didn't like in her class. I've never known 'elders' to put their face in a non-Witness' business, but these two did.
As my gramma would have said, she "showed them were the bear went in the buckwheat."
I should add that I have to uncles by marriage who are elders and aren't at all like that. I like them. They're good to me and my sisters, and they were good to my mom.

Collapse of JW Org - Possibly on the Horizon?

what i find interesting is even some of my pimi family is embracing the reality that all is not well with jw.org and that many current jws are just going through the motions due to not having a good way out of the org.
wondering what could realistically lead to the collapse of jw.org in the not distant future?
