by Wonderment inthe emphasized bible (rotherham) is now included in the wt library under "other bibles.".
therefore it joins kit, kjv, asv, & the bible in living english in such group.. any thoughts?.

Why dont practicing JWS cant accept the fact that the Watchtower Corporation is a commercialized false prophet ?
by Finkelstein into the majority of people who investigate the activities of the wts from its beginning history there were obvious false proclamations and doctrines propagated by the wts.. a matter of fact the wts produced a long list of literature that posted proclamations on the front cover and went into detail of things that were suppose to happen, from jesus returning changing the world in which we live and so on.. wonderful things one might say but not factual or either theologically correct .

It's a very small religion that does not have a publishing arm. That the Watchtower publishes more, and often better written, material than many others would not dissuade a committed adherent. Uncle B, the surviving author of the Separate Identity series, pointed me to the concept of Triumphalism. We were discussing the lack of rational refutation in the Russell era. But the thought applies to Watchtower belief as well. Douglas Hall, in The Cross in Our Context: Jesus and the Suffering World (2003), wrote:
"The tendency in all strongly held world views, whether religious or secular, to present themselves as full and complete accounts of reality, leaving little if any room for debate or difference of opinion and expecting of their adherents unflinching belief and loyalty. Such a tendency is triumphalistic in the sense that it triumphs - at least in its own self-estimate - over all ignorance, uncertainty, doubt, and incompleteness, as well, of course, as every other point of view." - page 15.
This is the issue with Witness adherents as well as their conservative Protestant opponents. If you see your belief system as fixed and inerrant, you will avoid debate as unnecessary. You will pity those on the outside. But you will not question your faith.

What Do You Think About New York City?

i’ve always loved the vitality of the city and no one could ever say that you could get bored in nyc.
i regularly went for business during the day and in the evenings go to local bars and restaurants as well as the village.

Why did Lloyd Evans say in one of his latest video
by mickbobcat inso i was watching an evans video he just put out where he was interviewing a man about how the cult treated his daughter who was rapped as a criminal.
the man said his wife's first experience with an apostate site was here.
i could tell by the look on his face he did not like that site and then could not help himself and said that he could not recommend going to this site.

He seems to rely on money generated from his videos. If so, he is manipulating the ex-JW community for his own profit. In his book he seems to revel in behaviors many would reject. I've never met him, but I neither trust nor like him.

Liberal vs. Conservative mental health study - what do you make of it?
by Brock Talon ina pew study from 2020 (but one i just now came upon myself) reported that the more liberal you are, the more likely you are to have a mental health condition.
the worst suffering group are white females, ages 18-29 where over 56% have admitted to be described by their own doctors as having a mental health condition.
conservative females of the same age group suffer at less than half that number (27%).. while women tend to have more mental health problems than men (don't be mad at me for saying it, this is what the study reports) it is notable that liberal men have a higher percentage of mental health conditions than conservative women in the same age group.
