  1. A tract on spiritism by N. Barbour published about 1881 or so. No name for it.

  2. Any issue of A. D. Jones Zion's Day Star

  3. The combined printing of Food for Thinking Christians and Tabernacle Teachings. We only need a scan of the title page.

  4. Personal letters no matter how irrelevant they may seem by any Russell era adherent.

  5. Any issues of Paton's World's Hope. We have many, but key years seem not to exist in libraries.

  6. Most issues of Adam's Spirit of the Word.

  This just scratches the surface. If you have anything you believe will help us write an accurate, forthright history, contact me.

  In another thread someone suggested that our truthhistory blog is an apology for the Watchtower. If you spend time on our blog you will see this is not so. We only write verifiable history. We do not engage in apologetics. I am not and I have never been a Witness. Dr. Schulz is one. Together we write accurate, let the chips fall where they may history. Nothing else.

  Will Watchtower target the inactive?

  they have just become inactive.

  do you all think wt will begin a witch hunt (df'ing) for these inactive ones?

  They do not count inactive in their yearbook reports, only total number of evangelists reporting time in the ministry and number attending the memorial.

  I would hesitate to predict what they will do. Officially, elders are supposed to reach out to the inactive. In practice a significant number of elders are just as happy the inactive are gone.

  No. Those are well known still photographs, easily available. We mean an actual film sold in a now abandoned format through The New Era Enterprise, a Watch Tower adherent newspaper.

  I completed my dissertation [PhD] with two toddlers at home. You can do this. From your post I'd say English is your second language. So I suggest you enroll in a Community College [2year], assuming you're in America. They will help you with the language and give you a good foundation for completing your degree through the university of your choice.

  Confirm credit transfer to an instate institution. There are probably some sub 100 classes in your future. These are remedial classes in math and grammar and writing. Pre- College practice tests are available online. Take advantage of that. The adult education experience can be challenging. Persist.

  Help! Mike & Kim videos all being deleted by Youtube

  due to watchtower flagging the mike & kim videos on youtube for copyright, youtube is giving them 6 days before they are shutting down their entire youtube channel.

  can you help with a mass downloading program and then reuploading them on a mirror ?

  would hate to lose all those good videos!

  I have mixed feelings over 'fair use' and theft of copyrighted material. I have no feelings about their videos or claims. Not my fight. But back in the day [2007] a fantasy fiction novel of mine was published by a small press. It sold well and made it to three best in fantasy lists and was a pick of the month two months running on a fantasy fiction site. But it was also pirated and made a torrent download. Every free download cost me money.

  The book is out of print, and I don't write fiction anymore. Don't steal what is not yours. No matter what your issue.

  My mother converted to Jehovah's Witnesses late in life. She had two postgraduate degrees earned before she became a Witness. My youngest sister was a toddler when mother was baptized, grew up in the religion, finished high school and abandoned education to evangelize. Those of us who were older when mom converted did not accept the religion and have professional degrees.

  Witnesses wrong their adherents. Education matters, even for people of faith.

  Pioneers Living With Married Couple

  so ... situation:.

  a baptized married couple, with no privileges that we know of, have opened their home to 2 unmarried regular pioneers because of the pioneers' financial issues (limited income).. - husband works from home.

  - wife doesn't work and stays home or in service.

  My experience with Witness elders is almost totally negative. One can, of course, raise the issue with the Watchtower. And should. But expect no results.
