  Pastor Russell letters?

  most of those who read my comments and posts here know i'm not a witness but a historian who writes about them.

  as my writing partner and i near completion of volume 2 of separate identity, we need scans of any letters, post cards or what have you written by russell, any of his associates or any pre-1916 adherent - no matter how insignificant they may appear.. can you helps with this?

  we also need clear scans of watch tower convention programs from that era.. i appreciate any help that comes my way.. rachael.

  in 1882, he was a student in allegheny city, pennsylvania.

  he traveled through the central states in the 1880s and early 1890s.

  as at least some of you know, i am coauthor of two history books about zion's watch tower's earliest years.

  we are at a dead end with one of the watch tower's earliest evangelists, s. d. rogers.

  we do not know his first name or have any biography outside of a scattering of newspaper articles and mentions in zwt.

  about 1910 the brethren writer william d. forsyth self published a booklet entitled israel's greater faith contrasted with zion's watch tower.

  i need a copy to further current research.

  russell mentions a 'brother' van der ahe as an early days wt evangelist.

  we can't identify him.
