  when people in general or perhaps your friends start talking about their religion, does this get you riled or do you some how want to still defend the jw's way of thinking or do you leave the room all together, not knowing what to say.

  In the beginning I was very defensive of JW's. Through the passage of time, I have changed. I'm more "go with the flow" willing to listen to others viewpoints/experiences and share my own.

  However, when I left it wasn't for the child abuse, UN, 1975, etc-if I were to leave now because of the things I've found out through this website, my brother & others, I would probably be very angry and intolerant of them and others beliefs. I can see myself being one who would just leave the room if it were casual friends and "discuss" with closer friends and family.

  i have been so busy here lately, trying to get moved from one house to another, while working on the one we are living in now......errrrrrrrrrrrrr.

  i have thought of you all often, wishing i had more time to respond to many of your post,,,,,, i try to read them as much as i can and hopefully will be back in the swing of things shortly.

  i hope that life is treating you all great and that you are still enjoying your freedom from the borg.

  some highlights...

  ' there are two photos: 1) a silhouette of a soldier laying flat on his stomach pointing an automatic weapon and 2) a colorless photo of at least 17 children pressed up against barbed-wire in (i assume) a nazi concentration camp.

  this cover would lead a person to conclude that god really does not care.

  Taming of a Beast (Long post)

  taming of a beast.

  it was back in 1993, the last day of work before christmas.

  70 of us were laid off that day (after 6 months notice), and left at lunch, never to go back.

  I'm so tired (vent)

  i guess i just need to vent a little, so i hope you don't mind me coming here.

  some of you know i started a new job this past march with a pharmaceutical company.

  it's just a temporary position with the schedule having me become permanent in december.

  I didn't get the job

  i have been doing contract work for about four years now and i have been trying to get a permanent position for well over a year.

  last week i did an interview for a job that would have been perfect.

  it was even very close to where i live... within a five minute drive.. this morning i got feedback and they really liked me, but decided to go with another candidate.

  New House!!!

  haven't been on the forum much in the last week or so, been busy moving house.

  i told a few of you at emans barbie i'd just found a place, but it took until last week for me to get the keys.

  its only little, but got loads of interesting features and i'm full of ideas for what i want to do with it.
