  Elders "disassociated" me-after I married non-JW

  in was baptized in 1983 at the age of 18. by the end of 1984, i was beginning the fade thing.

  for 5 years i was an "inactive" witness.

  i can recall maybe one visit from an elder , though a few more from some "friends" that had missed me.

  So, Who has Cicadas??

  i have just started observing them in my neck of the woods.

  i'm fascinated with them and love to hear them especailly the sound that i hear further away -like an eery, rolling, humming-type sound through the mountain valleys.

  anyone else observing them??

  I SURVIVED........

  .....7 days at walt disney world!

  the weather was perfect until our last day-when it was a damp 55 degrees-the nuts got on kali river rapids 5 times and were shivering and drenched-but they were happy!

  (i was happy to be nice and warm and enjoyed watching the monkeys play!).

  one of the things i longed to do as a teen was attend a prom.

  i dreamed of one of my jw "crushes" asking me, but it never happened.

  but, i did have an old school acquaintance ask me in senior high.

  i've laughed, i've cried, i've gotten angry and bitten my tongue (and sometimes not!

  ) i came here after my brother, (formerly"mr. biggs") funchback contacted me and told me he had no longer believed in what the jw's taught.
