One thing it will do is to make those bethelites that did not get cut, straighten up and fly right.
There isn't a better motivator to get your butt in gear than a 'this could have been you" or a " you could be next"

first, how about a joke?.
what do you call someone who just turned apostate?.
im thinking sometime in the future the society will put a spin on what is happening similar to what has been done in the past.. they will say apostasy once again reared its ugly head in the organization and layoffs was the only way to "cleanse" the organization.. once disgruntled ones begin to use their voice, they will be forced to strike back with some spin to make all those who have the guts to complain look like they were the problem.. good theory huh?.

just heard from a reliable source that some at the canadian branch have received their lay-off notices under their doors at bethel.
don't know what the letter looks like.
probably something like, " the tribe has spoken, bring us your torches"
Anyone think there might be some potential suicides happening from all the ones leaving bethel?

it's become obvious in the last few days that the borg is done, done giving one dime over to the membership of the organization.
they know or have been told that it's a waste of time to spend money trying to recruit new members so their cutting all out lays of money in this regard to the bone.
they will continue to spend money where they can make a prophet, keeping the ones in, not thinking and donating.
What if it were a way to dissuade exjws from thinking about suing them. "Dammnn,... I waited too long,... they don't run out of money"

the december kingdom ministry (km) is online.
.
no schedule for the first week in january 2016 - as in previous december kms.. so another evidence, that beginning with january 2016 the org will change the mid-week-meeting.. -----> download link: http://download.jw.org/files/media_publickm/72/km_e_201512.pdf.
Looking for a "Kingdom Ministry" with a "This page left intentionally blank" in the center of a page.

Can't they ask for a late check out?
i did not believe i would see the demise of the wt in my lifetime, and maybe i will not, they may be able to ride out their present problems.. but how do you think this will affect the average, loyal, believing jw ?.
usually most things just wash over them, if there is a slight niggle, they use their well-worn way of explaining things to themselves as in "the end is near" or "jehovah knows best" etc etc.
but the huge sea-change in corporate policy that we see unfolding, all construction work stopped, except warwick and maybe their biggest project, chelmsford u.k. huge bethel layoffs, and the lifestyle of the remaining staff reduced to virtual slavery, more bethel closures, spiritual food reduced for the public as well as the r&f, and all of this being the opposite of what they have claimed was evidence of jehovah's blessing ???.
So I think that since we, as humans, cannot really see things from any other standpoint the quote from the GB in the Nov 2013 Watchtower regarding ''we all must be ready to obey any instructions whether they seem strategic from a human standpoint or not'' really should read "We getting ready to do some stuff that won't make sense no matter which way you slice it,.. get used to it"

the chelmsford project in the uk has already come to a halt and every one has been sent home.
the bethel family in london is to be cut by several hundred.
my impression is that most ambitious youngster in the org dream of being involved with the building program.
I wonder if they lost some money in the Hedge Funds business.

there were many addressed to me.
for example, i once had a sister tell me i was gambling because i liked playing skill crane (the machine where you have to try to pick up prizes like stuffed animals) at the arcade.
i then fired back a her: "you saw the r-rated movie 'backdraft.
After fading for a couple of years I get a call from a brother asking me if the following rumor was true "We heard that you and your boys are watching pornography together, is it true?"
My response,...
"It certainly is not true!!!! You people think that a person has to have some insidious vice to be the reason to leave the organization. You don't think that there is a valid reason to leave. You think that everyone that leaves is into SEX, DRUGS or ROCK AND ROLL if they leave!!"
I go on to ask "Live action is not considered porn,.. right?"

a good source just just told me that at morning worship today that the governing body announced that a total of 1600 bethelites will be let get go and not transferred to warwich when the last property is sold in brooklyn and all kingdom hall building projects are on hold for at least a year so that all the focus will be on the preaching work.
Might lead easily into a a "If this congregation can meet up over at "x" Kingdom Hall,.. we could sell this KH and use that money to increase the funds of the coffers at Bethel to use to further the preaching work in other countries before the GT"
