personally, i never went to the elders with anything(not voluntarily, anyway).

anyone had three elders (judicial committee) question you on sex before marriage?.
case in point, being raised as one of jehovah's witnesses, i partied with peers that were witnesses by tradition, inherent faith.
at the age of eighteen (1992), i was conversing about the elders with a group of witnesses, and a girl who had been before a judicial committee chimed in and said, they ask questions that are none of their fucking business.
Has anyone ever decided to RECORD one of these confessionals? It would be wonderful for a "sister" that knows she is going to DA herself that would "set up" a JC to record just what questions they are asking about sexual info on that person, in this case the "sister" secret agent.
She could go in with the DA letter in hiding and then "play" them as if she had had some illicit affair with someone. Trying to get them to ask questions that are above and beyond the norm. Then after getting the goods on the 33, explain that this was all a hoax and then she hands them her DA letter.
Then let them know later that she has recorded the conversation and it is being played on youtube etc,..

so i had the elders come to my house about two months at the time i told my wife and family that i was having doubts.
they came by i explained my position and they basically told me i needed to be more humble and just tow the line like many others have before me.
well i have not gone preaching or to any meeting for two months after that and did not recieve any phone call from the elders, which was fine by me .

most jws that i know of love to drink.. interestingly, i noticed the heaviest drinkers were bethelites..
I have heard that may have stopped drinking over the last few years, they bought some of those funnels!!
and things are within a week or two of being d.a.ed/d.f.ed, and my jw best friend sent me an email to check how i was doing.
i was fairly sure that he was very much on the edge of leaving to, or at least that he didn't believe it for a long time.
so i sent him an email in reply and told him basically everything i believed and the reasons i knew jws are not the true religion, and i also told him i was leaving.
And if, and I use that term loosely, there is some slight hedge of JWS being more peaceful than others ,and I'm not saying that they are, it would not be due to them being a part of Gods chosen organization on Earth today.
It would be because they THINK that they are a part of Gods chosen organization on Earth today.
I think that it all has to do with perception. If you REALLY THINK that you are a special, chosen people, then many will tend to act this way.
